@robwilson-work designed this amazing logo for the first new podcast from Joseph Fink since Welcome to Night Vale (episode 1 coming March 8). It is a fictional podcast series telling the story of a truck driver (played by Jasika Nicole, @sugarbooty) who travels the United States in search of her wife. Jon Bernstein, @disparition, composed the music. It’s going to be great, and I cannot wait till we put it out into the world.
Alice Isn’t Dead isn’t related to Night Vale other than Joseph is writing it and it is a part of our new podcast network, Night Vale Presents. I don’t know if you know this about Joseph, but he likes writing and storytelling (don’t tell him I told you this), and this is a character and storyline he’s been working on for a while. So if you’re a fan of Night Vale, I’m pretty sure you’ll love this new show, these new characters, this new world.
I have another fiction podcast I’m working on right now, as well (more on that in the coming months), and Joseph and I are looking forward to producing new podcasts in the coming years.
We’ve already begun working with some amazing artists to create original podcasts, doing some cool new things and telling unique stories. We’re so thrilled to make more things for you, internet.
Congrats to NYNF alum Jeffrey on Night Vale Presents’ upcoming podcast!

I liked Slodwick’s design for this Welcome to Night Vale board game so much that I decided to make a fully playable physical version with a box, tray, and three dimensional pieces. (The box is made of plywood covered in a faux leather vinyl and felt.) I changed up a few things like the color of the money (matching traditional Monopoly colors except for the $500 bill which I made purple) and the obelisk/pyramid buildings. Since these would have been too difficult for me to make out of wood, I made the obelisks condos (black cubes) and changed the pyramids back to hotels (like those you’d find in an original Monopoly game). For the game tokens, I attached Slodwick’s images onto a piece of PVC pipe (spray painted black) on top of a piece of felt. I also designed and wrote up my own instruction book to match Monopoly rules more closely while still keeping some of Slodwick’s Night Vale flavor. As a finishing touch, I etched a Night Vale eye out of a brass plate, spray painted it black, and sanded the raised surface, giving it an interesting aged look. Overall, I think the project turned out quite well. Here are some more pictures I took of the project.

Step 1: Separate your lips. Step 2: Use facial muscles to pull back corners of mouth. Step 3: Widen your eyes. This is how to be happy.

i haven’t drawn cecil in a while so this time i did three!! i’m still not rly sure abt cecil and tats but if he did have them they would be regular old non-moving ones and also of local desert flowers. i also like to think cecil’s mom bought him confidence-boosting pun t-shirts (ps: full view is much nicer)
Every time I look at the Kakos Industries logo, it looks like something else. Today it looked like an eye, so here it is, my spaghetti-finger drawing.
The weird font I did reminds me of Orwell’s 1984, for whatever reason.
I showed this to the head of the Division of Vast Lexicons. She said, “neato!”
aaaaaaaaaaaaaw it<s freaking cute! :D

In class we had to draw illustrations for an existing story, and I chose Night Vale! I’m really not confident at all with painting and it was my first attempt in years… But now I can at least say I’m a bit better than I was before!
These are all things that occurred in the pilot!
Night Vale is not so easily found.
