Saw Sai call out Arteice for simping for Jinu vs. Calling out Stolas.
Let's make a list of things that Stolas as done : ( Based on my memory of the watching the show as it aired. ) - Bold are negative things he's done.
Been married to a woman despite being ' gay ' , though that part was only confirmed after season 2 in Pride merch.
1- Made a deal with Blitz where Sex was exchanged for using the book after Blitz had pity sex with him to steal the book.
2- Had sex with someone other than the person he's married to, but the fandom handwaves this because Stella is a cunt.
3- Ignored his daughter, Octavia, at a theme park to flirt with Blitz after calling him under false pretenses of '' protecting '' Stolas.
Bonus: He dragged his daughter to a theme park where she had childhood trauma. ( Eventually, after she runs away, they start to talk, but Stolas fumbles it and doesn't just tell Octavia the truth about his relationship with Stella - Because the writers hadn't decided to make Stella abusive yet. ) -
Did not immediately break up with Stella after Octavia was born because he wanted to create a fake happy marriage for his kid. - Understandable but naive and stupid. Octavia grew up in a household where Stella and Stolas were likely constantly sniping at each other to the point where Octavia grew accustomed to wearing headphones and playing loud music to drown out the sound. Stolas was able to divorce Stella later after fucking Blitz. Speculation, but Coddled and likely spoiled Octavia with presents to make himself seem like the Better parent ( tm ) so that Octavia clung to him.
( In the current narrative, he's allegedly been emotionally abused by Stella, who was just as unhappy with the marriage as Stolas, but this series is going to ignore that part. Stella is a one-dimensional pawn of her brother, who's too stupid to exist without a man next to her. Never mind that she hired Striker before and seemed smart before - that was retconned to her being a mean, stupid bitch. )
4- Degraded Blitz's self-worth or Bad Flirt? : Actively used degrading language on Blitz, though the fandom and his simps will argue that he was trying to flirt. ( Blitz did not like it when he was called ' my little imp.' )
Been vague about what's actually is going on with his marriage. Allowing Stella to play victim. Allowing Octavia to assume the worst: That he cheated on her mom and doesn't actually love her.
If he had been HONEST with Octavia, she wouldn't have been pushing him to stay. She loves her dad and would have been on his side. His Silence led to her thinking that he only cared about getting back at Stella and Blitz.
5-Ignored Octavia again in order to bitch at his ex-wife. Forced Blitz to help him find the book despite them being broken up.
6-Flirted with Blitz despite them being over and Blitz making it clear he wanted SPACE. ( ignored boundaries. )
7- Guilt-tripped Blitz for putting his daughter at a higher priority than rescuing him from an imp that he arguably should have been able to get away from.
8- Racism :: Been a bigot towards Moxxie and Millie when Blitz is present and when he's not. Talked down to imps in general. Though again, his fans will downplay this as him just being raised wrong. ( Striker was not wrong to want him dead, and Blitz only protected him because that was his ' meal ticket ' )
9-Gaslit Blitz about never looking down on him, despite it sure seeming like he was from Blitz and the outside perspective, because this man is never honest about how he actually feels about anything.
10-Took the moral high ground after the breakup. Made Blitz feel like he had done something wrong by calling Stolas out for his contributions to their previous relationship being Toxic.
11- Played the pity card and acted like a sad baby so that Blitz had to coddle him instead of letting Blitz talk it out with him.
12 Made Blitz feel like he had to continuously coddle and console him instead of them actually talking it out and ironing out their many issues. Forced Blitz to drop any talking points against Stolas because he can't handle mild criticism.
13 Got called out for publicly cheating on his wife with an imp at Ozzie's Lustful Lounge ( tm ) by Lord Ozzie himself. Refused to stand up for Blitz and his relationship in Public, leading Blitz to second-guess how Stolas actually felt about him.
14- Been guilty of sending mixed messages.
Now let's see what Jinu did :
Took a deal that turned out to only benefit him. Kept quiet and let his family starve outside of the palace while he enjoyed the finer things.
Died at some point and became a minion.
Came up with the plan to form a demon band and gathered four other demons to act/sing in it with him. To steal human souls.
Acted like an ass towards Rumi at first until he found out about her secret demonic lineage.
Fell in love with Rumi despite himself. Started to think that he could be free.
Almost betrayed his ' bandmates ' - who clearly mean nothing to him in canon.
Got emotionally abused by Gwi-ma into going with the original plan. With the demon lord's help, he made clones of Rumi's friends and made it look like they fought on stage.
Lied about what he was to steal the souls of humans.
Died and turned into a sword that Rumi used to defeat Gwi-ma.
... I dunno about you, but I don't get why Sai says that Jinu is ' just as bad '
Stolas was born a demon and arguably lived LONGER than Jinu.
Stolas let Octavia grow up in a household that was toxic - possibly because his pride would be shattered??? Stayed silent and allowed Stella to manipulate his daughter. Stolas is an abuse victim. Before it was just Stella getting angry because he cheated with an Imp ( the lowest on the hierarchy and she was humiliated and being mocked by the elitist segment they're from. )
Jinu did one bad thing YEARS ago and has been abused and degraded for that by Gwi-ma for the last centuries. He's also an abuse victim.
Why is Stolas the one you're advocating for?
