I would probably want to hang out with Piper (Scare Actor oneshot). She's simply the most chill and effortlessly nice of all my characters, I think. We'd watch horror movies together. I would definitely NOT kiss her idk who said that.
Honorable mention to a modern AU Ano, who I think would make good company, and Robbie from the alien oneshot.
As for listener? I'm between Ranger from Abigail and Pyrite from Nell. Both are absolute baddies, though I imagine Ranger is a touch more personable. So probably her :)

See this one is tricky, because not all of my one-shots tend to stay one-shots, but if I went specifically by audios i have YET to serialize OR never INTEND to? I think I gotta give it to Scare Actor (though Sector Unknown is a close second)

ASMR Rant Pt. 14: Thoughts after binging Shaymeless Audios

ANOTHER rant that's been a long time coming, oh my goshhhhh- it's been a minute since my last one.
THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, OPINIONS ABOUT SHAYMELESS AUDIOS AND STUDIOS BELOWWWWWWW, and YES it is rambly af again, what else do you expect from me-
Shaymeless Audios/Studios: Ah, yes, bound to another patron- I thought I was supposed to do the scruffing, no she scruffed me, I'm not getting out anytime soon guys-
Mental state: the ✨sapphic✨ desires that have gripped my heart for the past few months are no joke, omfg WOMENNNNNNNNNNN-
Favorite audio: The Heart Bleeds Lavender (THISSSSSSSSSSS, THIS SERIES RIGHT HERE OMFG ADFLJASDLFK), Cherry Soda Chapstick, Rosie: Girl Unbound from Reality, Alpha: Domestic Companion Android, *takes deep breath* Lillith's Monster Girl Dungeon With The Cursed Amulet That Makes All The Monsters Want To Kiss You!
Series I thought I'd dislike but ended up loving: Alpha: Domestic Companion Android (Alpha I would die for you-)
Random thoughts:
I first met Shay after Mage tapped me on the shoulder and was like-
"I made a new friend, you wanna meet her?"
*Me: quickly abandons all homework to meet tree lady-*
First impression was pretty voice and a good sense of humor, quickly marked her as a new victim for the rants-
She was curious about how I go about the ranting- I brought it up during my GBA rant but it's changed a little recently-
The plan of attack depends on how many audios the channel has and how many series. If it has a bunch, I'll start with the oldest to newest series first, then watch all the oneshots (again from oldest to newest). If it doesn't have a lot of audios, I'll watch the oneshots from least to most popular, then watch any series in the same order. I think the reason for this is because I know the oldest series are most likely to be completed, but I also get to see how the creator evolved over time.
I remember during my older binges I would always wait to save the most viewed audios or the series I saw everyone talking about till the very end- NOT sure what my reasoning behind this one was though...
Abigail is bestest girl, and AGAIN, ONE DAY I WILL TRUST VAS AND THEIR WOLF-BASED CHARACTERS. I keep doubting them for some reason, but Abigail's series was such a good introduction. The lore of her world also made sure that I was hooked- really like the fluffy spin-off we've been getting with her as well.
ANO IS MY GIRL AND I'M SAD THAT SHE ONLY GOT THREE AUDIOS AUGHHHH I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE WEAPONS DAMMIT-
Cherry Soda Chapstick- THIS FREAKING SERIES.
Look, I love enemies/rivals-to-lovers. And yes, I do adore a slow-burn, ESPECIALLY when it's done right.
BUT THE FREAKING. YEARNING. BETWEEN THESE TWO IDIOTS-
The amount of times I have screeched over these lesbians is insane omfg. GREAT storytelling, and it was really nice seeing it as an audio drama as well- excited for season two whenever it comes out, where I'm POSITIVE I won't have reason to scream at them anymore-
I was very very kindly gifted a Patreon membership by a member of Shay's community (ESTEL YOU ABSOLUTE GOAT THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAINNNNN), and my main goal for the month was to binge LMGDWTCATMATMWTKY!, aka "resident goddess looks at you and decides you desperately need to get laid-"
Call it a hunch but I felt like it was really important to listen to the entire audio.
... I was very normal that month I swear- also realized that hypnosis is really good for knocking me tf out, it took me three tries to get through the Lamia Witch episode-

Me while crocheting: *freaking chokes at that*
I do NOT trust robot/android characters- thankfully I was again proven wrong with Alpha.
THE FUNNY THING WAS THAT I WAS LIKE "I mean, she's okay, I'm not super crazy about her-" AT THE START, NOW IT'S LIKE "ALPHA I WOULD DIE FOR YOU MY PRECIOUS GIRL I LOVE YOU-"
The Sordid Misadventures of Rosie Reed. That, that's when things started changing for me-
LIKE, OKAY, FINE, I GUESS WE JUST HAVE STORYTELLERS PULVERIZING THE FOURTH WALL AND THE LISTENERS ARE SCHEMING WITH THEM- THIS IS FINE THIS IS GREAT- OH BY THE WAY SHE BASICALLY GAVE US A WHOLE MOVIE FOR FREE, everyone say thank you Shay-
Then after that you start noticing some shit- you start noticing the lil ciphers going on, the little secrets- the fact that entire new playlists ARE BEING MADE WITH CRYPTIC DESCRIPTIONS AND IT'S ***FINE***-
The moment things started clicking for me I fell out of my simping phase for the better part of a week I think- yes, I know, that's my entire reputation at this point, BUT I WAS A LORE AND STORY-LOVER FIRST- IF YOU GIVE ME LORE, THAT'S THE ONLY THING ON MY MIND AND IT'S HARD TO DRAG ME OUT OF IT- Nell I love you sweetheart, you're cute but I need to figure out this damn lore-
One thing that's been really nice to watch from the windowsill is the relationship between Shay and Mage. The fact that they're both inspiring and pushing each other to try new things, the encouragement both of them give each other- the ART that has spawned as a result... the genderbent Aru and Llyr audios, Android Mechanic, and our beloved selkie Cailean have quickly become new favorites for me.
They're an amazing creative team together, and I'm proud of them- proud of the projects they're working on, proud of the growth they've received lately from their work. Proud of their own personal growth. I'm glad the universe brought them together.

Can the Dryad talk to me like that- please- I wanna be put in a situation next, ma'am please one chance-
I listened to the old Nezetta audios and loved them, BUT THIS REWRITE ALKDFALSDFKJALSDFJ- I'm so HUNGRY, I can't stress this enough, I am so tense listening to every episode and then it's like I'm suddenly cut loose when it ends, I can't DEAL AUGHHHH- this is one of my top favorite series now I can't stand it-
Cast is amazing, the writing oh chaos the writing- if I can see it in my head, if I can see it playing in my mind like a TV drama then you have me, I'm yours, I swear fealty to you-
I'm really really normal about this series okay I promise-
I want Nezetta, Seraphina, Colette and Uriel for Christmas by the way- all four of them- atthesametime who said that anyway-
Shay's become one of those creators that genuinely bring light whenever I listen to them- the effort that she puts into her audios, her acting and writing skills, the adventures and worlds that she's creating- I'm excited, I'm so freaking excited to see what's next. It was a good binge...
Ok, there is a TON of people on my list now aaaaaaaaaaagh- I need to tackle Frenchie and PennCil Kid next for sure, Y'ALL ARE NEXT ON THE RANT LIST.
Something else I wanted to mention... it is late, and I will probably get rid of this part later lol, I get either ridiculously feral or stupidly sappy this time of night.
But it's a special thing to be afforded a look behind the curtain. To see a glimpse of the mind you've admired from afar outside of their work.
And you discover how kind they are- funny, talented, caring. How intriguing of a person they can be.
Storytellers like Shay, Mage, Earl, and all the others I've gotten to know- not JUST VAs either, artists too- all the Storytellers- they have such incredibly beautiful minds and I'm in awe of them. I admire all of you so much. And you make the world and life so much brighter with your art and stories.
There's a lot more in my heart to say that I cannot put into any kind of words, so once again, all I can offer is my gratitude and my encouragement.

Not necessarily missed, but confirmed some other preferences I have-
I need a plot. Like yes, a fluffy one-shot is good every once in a while, and it's super cute and sweet and comforting I need a freaking story. I need the world-building, I need the lore, and as much as the lore will drive me crazy and I will screech at the Creator because of the damn lore, I crave it. I would rather be driven mad figuring out how everything connects together than be comforted.
I'm becoming increasingly picky with how people perform dialogue........ An audio can be good, but sometimes there's not really a natural flow between the Speaker and the Listener. There's no space for the Listener to really "answer" while the Speaker just plows on. I've started appreciating the VAs that really make it sound like a genuine conversation.
Kissing, I was always picky about kissing SFX, Shay's in S tier for kissing-
