Al-Fudayl ibn ʿIyād رحمه الله said:
«إِنَّمَا أُنزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ لِيُعْمَلَ بِهِ، فَاتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ قِرَاءَتَهُ عَمَلًا»
“The Qurʾān was only revealed to be acted upon, but people have taken its recitation as the goal instead of action.” (Iqtiḍā’ al-ʿIlm al-ʿAmal)
Perfect and beautiful recitation is not the end goal, rather it is a means to the end goal which is contemplation and acting upon the Qurʾān.
When something happened that pleased the Prophet ﷺ, he used to say: “الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ” (Praise is to Allāh Who by His blessings all good things are perfected.”
And if something happened that displeased him, he used to say: “الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ” (Praise is to Allāh in all circumstances.)
Hisn al-Muslim 218
Some of our righteous predecessors said:
(How) poor are those who left this dunya and did not get to taste the best of it.
It was asked:
What is the best of it?
They replied:
Knowing Allāh, loving Him, experiencing closeness to Him, and longing to meet Him.
Glory be to Him who placed tranquility in entrusting one's affairs to Him, and made in His remembrance the dissipation of worries. ♡
When things get tough, read this ayah. Imagine Allah smiling down upon you right now and saying this to you.
Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured, and excellent is the final home!
[Ar-Ra'd: 24]
Allah is proud of you. You'll see the fruits of your patience when you go home. Your real home, with Him. And excellent is the final home.

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:
Practice isolation for it is the basis of all good, and beware of bad companionship, and let the books and reading about the lives of the Salaf be your companions.

May your beautiful heart find peace in what Allāh has destined for you. In reality, it is what’s best for you. ♡
Ya Allah, increase our knowledge and give us the ability to bring that knowledge to our family and friends and implement it in our daily lives in hopes of winning your love and mercy. Amin Ya Rabb!

Friday reminder: Salawaton Nabi sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam.
Ibn Salaah said: "Some scholars stated that one should say it every time he hears (or reads) the name of the Prophet of Allaah, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam. When writing, one should write it whenever the name is mentioned. One should not become bored of repeating it regardless of how many times it is written or said, and anyone who neglects this has indeed deprived himself from a great deal of reward."1
The eyes tear up, the heart grieves, and we only say what pleases our Rabb.
O Allāh, grant your promised victory to your believing servants.
آمين
The Prophet ﷺ Said,
"Abandon desire for this world, and God will love you. Abandon desire for others' goods, and people will love you."
Sahih Ibn Majah

Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen,
"The wise approach is to not judge the wife when there is conflict or when she has wronged you. No! Rather, look at those good cherished times in the past you both have enjoyed together as well as look at what a brighter future holds for you both, then judge based upon justice."
[Explanation Of Riyaadhus-Saaliheen, Chapter Of Advice On Women, Hadeeth No. 275]
Fixing your deen isn't only just praying and reading the Quran. It's also fixing your manners and character, the way you behave, the vocabulary you use and the people you surround yourself with. It means fearing Allah and doing everything in this life for His sake.
It is reported that Abu ad -Darda - Allah be pleased with him - said:
You will never be pious until you become knowledgeable, and you will never be beautiful with your knowledge until you act [by it].
[Ilbn 'Abd al-Barr (Rahimahullah), Jami' Bayan al-'Ilm wa Fadhlihi, Article 1239]
