I went to a Local GameStop here In Denmark and Casually spend my Christmas gift card on Subnautica... and look what was on the back!

Didn’t even notice till I got home and had a proper look! (Was just so excited that I could finally play Subnautica hehe)

Dude! The world better watch out! Jacksepticeye is taking over the world!

So the chair has been pulled on stage for the last time, and we have asked the question “How Did We Get Here” for the last time... and I feel absolutely blessed to have been a part of this amazing journey ❤️

I have been worried about the changes that are happening, the big project etc. And I’ve asked “did I loose the Jack I fell in love with October 2016?” .... but That day in Copenhagen, October 30th, almost exactly 2 years after I fell in love with Jack, I fell in love all over again...

I’m inspired, and I’m excited for the future... all because of that one night, that made 2018 turn from Suck to Rock! ❤️

Because of the show And the support of friends, I just dived in and started streaming on twitch and I’m having a blast! So thank you Jack ❤️

First of all, I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the warm welcome and support you’ve given our sweet baby Cloak. It’s truly been a labor of love and I can’t thank you enough for knocking this early launch out of the park!

Second, I want to let you guys know that IT’S OK IF PEOPLE HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE BRAND. We’re hear to LISTEN to people and if people have concerns it’s imperative to LET THEM SPEAK THEIR MIND.

We’ve worked so incredibly hard to bring this dream of ours to you and we’ve fought every step of the way to make sure things were done right. But this is only the beginning. This is where we HAD to start because if we didn’t start small the idea would fall flat on its face and crash and burn and explode in a fiery ball of fail.

The sad truth is that we don’t have the resources that the bigger companies have… yet. But we will. The reason I’m so grateful right now is because you guys have already done MORE than enough to ensure that our dream for Cloak keeps marching forward.

And as we grow, we’ll have more and more items to add to our catalogue to fit the needs of more and more people.

We’ll have more negotiating power with suppliers to get better and better rates for production.

You haven’t even SEEN what we have in store for you guys on the customer service end of things (we commit to making everything right no matter what) but even that will get better as we learn and adapt and shift and change to meet YOUR NEEDS.

Cloak is not merch. Cloak is not just a couple hoodies and some t-shirts. Cloak is our commitment to you and I’m so damn excited to see what the future brings!

I absolutely appreciate this post, this is a post that actually helps this new adventure a bit more understandable, and I appreciate Mark telling people that it’s okay to have concerns, because I for one am scared to all heck that I am loosing everything I love about YouTube to capitalism… but let’s see where this goes

You aren’t alone. This trend of YouTubers making high-end fashion lines feels a little… Gross? In a way? I don’t have a better word than that but it makes me feel a lil icky for indescribable reasons.

That is basically my take as well, it’s not like I don’t want @therealjacksepticeye and @markiplier to do cool new things, especially do em together, but when I start feeling that every interaction with the community is about them wanting me to buy something, well that just makes me feel a bit odd... like watching an ad to basically get to watch another ad...

But at the same time, I guess I get it, I get that money needs to be made, and even that it’s an exciting time for them etc... but just be honest and not try and sell it to me as if you did something for me, when in reality, you just had a business opportunity and went for it...

i never knew how to make paper stars, so i looked up for tutorials on youtube.

when i’m lonenly, which is translated to most of the time, i make them; green, yellow, pink, blue, white, purple.

and, believe me, it’s kind of a relief to make them. not only for the colors and cute shape, but also for the fact that the time i spend makin them i am entertained and don’t have to think about my loneliness anymore.

i learnt how to make them like two months ago, by the way. and i have made over 300.

I’ve been wanting to see this story again.

This is for everyone. Guys, girls, both, neither, and more.

When you’re upset, make a star. When you’re stressed, make a star. I make them in school when the teacher yells at our class for being lazy or dumb. I make them at home when I’m in my room, wishing someone would notice my feelings and give me comfort. I’ve always made them with whatever I had around, and write a number on each and every one because its therapeutic. I can see how far I’ve come and how many times I haven’t given up.

Right now I’m at around four-hundred and seventy, and it really puts everything into a perspective.

Thats four hundred and seventy times that I could’ve given up. I’ve gotten pretty close on some of them - scarily close, but every one of those stars is a reminder to keep pushing forward, because I wake up every day and on my dresser is a box full of stars, and when I’m happy I think of how far I’ve come.

I think this idea should be passed around as much as possible. Its calming and distracting from and panic I feel. It gives me something methodical to do: Fold here. Fold there. Crease that line. There you go, Create. Produce. Make something solid and focus on it. Make another if you need to. Write a number. Fill up the jar, box, drawer.

And when you’re breaking and feel everything crashing down, you can look at your stars and think:

“See? I made it through alright. I can give it another go.”

At the risk of pissing people off…

I work in the screen printing industry. Everyday I see a whole slew of apparel brands that I have to embellish. I also see the price tags and the invoice that goes along with customizing them.

Those prices on CloakBrand… shockingly… pretty on point.

Believe it or not. They are actually priced better than some brands out there 😮😮😮

So cheaply made cheaply priced brands like Gildan, Hanes, Fruit of the Loom… your looking at $8-$12-$17 Hoodies. Meh quality. Meh fitting.

Middle priced and fairly well made brands like NextLevel, Canvas, Bella… now your talking $20-$25-$40 for said Hoodies. Why? Cuz they are fancier and fit better and feel nicer.

Now when it comes to the big brands….Nike, Adidas, Under Armor… you know the fancy designed stuff, well made, super comfy? Those are literally $50-$75-$85 a pop!!

That’s right $85 each AND that’s before I put my work into it by embellishing it with a multicolor custom design…. So now its upping the price even more by the time it’s said and done for shipping.

Crazy right?!??

I know, trust me I know, shit is expensive!!

BUT seeing that, I hope you wont blame Mark and Jack for the baseline price of the apparel they put together. It’s just industry standard.

And CloakBrand not only has printed embellishments, they seem cut well and good quality and sized for everyone.

You don’t see that kinda care, with all types of people in mind, when it comes to some of the bigger brand names. Tho you should cuz that’s what you are paying for right?!

So, yes, I get the the prices knock your socks off! The prices I see at work are astronomical sometimes…I get scared at work to even have to touch the expensive stuff for fear of messing even ONE up….😳

Please rest assure you are indeed paying for the high quality of your product and not just blowing up Mark and Jacks pockets because they feel like it.

I hope y’all can save up enough to get something soon… I know I will be too!

I appreciate you saying this! I know the Cloak stuff is much higher priced than a lot of merch we’ve done before but this is way beyond typical merch and the quality of the clothing is MUCH higher than what we’ve attempted before, it’s also not for every single person.  High quality clothing costs a lot to make, especially if you want to do it ethically. I have never done anything on Youtube EVER, just for the money and i’m not starting now

Then how can you advertise it as “our brand” as something for all of us? For the avagre game? When in reality you are making cloth for wealthy people.... and that’s not who your main demographic is on YouTube... I really really do support that you want to go on a business adventure, but come on! Just be honest and say it, it’s a business, and all you’ve don when it comes to this brand is just pure business tactics... nothing more, nothing less

I’ve had a bad week, but hear me out

.... this new clothing line is not AMAZING! or praiseworthy, it’s a business, and you are just money in the bank. Now, you may think that I am speaking as someone who just can’t afford the cloth, and well I have a birthday coming up soon, so I might be able to then, but I am not, I am speaking as someone who is an adult living in the real world, in a small country yes, but an adult in the real world non the less, I’m speaking as a business school student and the sister of a business owner, and let me give you the inside scoop, having more than 20 mil viewers is a great way to start a business, having millions of die heart fans, who would buy anything you sold them, is good business, telling them that “Oh it’s made for people like you, it’s top quality” is good business... that’s it... it’s money in the bank... while that’s not an entirely bad thing, it’s at least disappointing to me to see that apparently a youtuber cannot have success without it becoming a money grab... guys! these cloth are mostly special because Mark and Jack are the face of them, they might have had the idea, but THEY didn’t make it...

and now you can drop a hate comment or dislike me

How did we get here Copenhagen

Hello my dear tumblr people! I’m not here that often but thought I could stop by and ask here as well to see if someone can help me.

I have watched @therealjacksepticeye now for some years, and I finally have the chance to see his show this autumn and usually my life is stuffed full with stuff but this time I actually have the time to get to the show and it would be really amazing.

Sadly, I’ve realized that I’m to afraid to go alone. We live in a time where you as a young woman doesn’t dare go out in cities after dark. This of course is horrible but it is not gonna be fixed in these three weeks.

I don’t really have any friend or “contacts” online in the community, but still I want to ask if there is someone I could meet up with before the show and go home with afterwards. Preferably someone who is going to Malmö afterwards, but at least someone who can follow me to the trainstation in Copenhagen.

Please spread this around if you see it, and I know our community is amazing. I also know more people is going to the copenhagen show, so I don’t feel like this is an impossible idea. I won’t be able to go to the show if I can’t team up with someone.
