"Why can't you come to the gym alone?" You roll your eyes as you reach for your water bottle on the mat below you.
"Because—" Jungkook huffs, continuing to wipe the sweat dripping down his jawline with the towel around his neck. "Everything's more enjoyable with you. I can actually look forward to working out when it's with you instead of it just being a chore."
You take the lip of the water bottle away from your mouth and screw the lid back on to close it. "I'm just here for moral support." Setting it back down on the mat, you continue talking. "Don't expect anything else from my company."
Jeongguk smiles while finishing wiping the sweat off his face. "We'll see about that. I'm going to be here for a while longer, so you'd better be here until I'm done."
"Jeongguk, I'm tired, and my whole body is starting to get sore." You whine, hoping your boyfriend will feel bad for you and let you go home.
"No pain, no gain, baby." He winks before turning his back on you and walking toward the leg press.
An Hour and a Half Later
"I think— I've done every exercise possible during the past two hours. How do you work out for this long every day?" You approach your shirtless boyfriend sitting on the bench in front of the lat pulldown machine, doing rear lat pulldowns.
"You spend half of your day on that walking pad. How is that any different?" Jeongguk groans as he pulls the bar down.
"I'm working while on my walking pad— that's different. I also don't hear any loud thuds coming from machines or people grunting while lifting when on it." You argue and notice that your boyfriend is now pulling the bar down behind his back more slowly.
He completes one more rep before relaxing his arms and letting the cable attached to the bar reel back up above his head. Jeongguk exhales, "Okay, that's it." He leans forward to get off the bench when you push him back down by his shoulder.
"Nope. Where do you think you're going?"
He laughs. "What do you mean? I'm done with my workout."
"No, you're not. You only did four sets. You gotta do one more." You nag, staring down at him.
"What? Were you watching me?" He laughs again and watches you raise your eyebrows. "Seriously? Baby, I literally cannot do any more."
"Really? Well, then I guess I have to motivate you."
"How?"
You keep your hand on his shoulder as you take a step forward and face him. With a smirk, you swing your left leg over his lap and sit down. "Like this." The smirk remains on your face as you now straddle him.
Jeongguk scoffs and pokes the inner side of his top teeth with his tongue. He reaches overhead with both arms for the bar and pulls it down behind his back again, all while his eyes are glued to yours. He groans after the first few sets, but his focus is still on you, and he's determined to finish his workout.
The smirk lingers on your face as you squirm in his lap to move closer to him and let your fingers softly stroke his collarbone before they slide down his chest and tickle his abs.
Jeongguk bites his lip, trying to distract himself from the sensation and focus on the reps he has left. He's one rep away from finishing the set when he feels a bulge in his pants. "Fuck—" He exhales. "Baby, do you feel that?" He closes his eyes and sends his head back slightly, unable to ignore the arousal.
"Yeah, I do." You keep your eyes on him and whisper, wrapping your arms around his neck.
"It's because of you. What are you going to do about it?" Jeongguk purrs while opening his eyes and focusing on you. His hands still grip the bar, which is now suspended above his head.
"You have to finish your set first. One more rep to go." You tease, not letting him get his reward until he finishes.
"Fuck that." Your boyfriend whispers before releasing the bar, which allows the cable to recoil and return the bar into the machine with a thud. He licks his lips before they collide with yours.
His lips are hot and wet against yours, as he brings his hands down to find your thighs and squeeze them. Once you feel his touch, your fingernails slightly dig into the back of his neck. Your boyfriend breaks the kiss to move down your jawline. His hands grip your thighs tighter while his lips now suck on your neck. You let out a soft exhale and close your eyes, as your fingernails now dig deeper into his skin, just enough to leave shallow dents.
Jeongguk's lips then return to yours to resume the sloppy makeout before pulling away a few seconds later. "Aren't you glad I didn't do that last rep? If I did, we couldn't have done that." His voice purrs through his breaths, his hands still holding your thighs.
"We can go home and do more." You whisper and breathe heavily with him as your eyes stare at his.
