This week I worked on a three-part transcription of one of Cecilia’s favourite pieces, “Kuroneko to Pianist no Tango” by Japanese singer and cellist Kanon Wakeshima. It was a really great exercise for me, not only because I enjoy sitting for hours nitpicking over notes, but because this piece was an excellent one - not repetitive, not too easy, yet not too complex (plus, it’s extremely catchy if I do say so myself).
This picture is a sample of it, page 3 to be precise (the score is 8 1/2 pages). I have everything converted into PDF’s and whatnot - all the sheet music (score + indiviudual voice, piano, and cello parts) can be found at the link below.
