Wait, I don’t know how I missed this but I just noticed that Armin says he heard a woman’s voice here, after Eren woke up screaming. Mikasa confirms she heard it too.

That’s obviously weird because Eren is male but also, he was seeing things through Grisha’s memories...unless he actually got Dina’s perspective for a second and impersonated her? After all, the last panel before he wakes up shows the Smiling Titan’s face. It’s entirely possible he received her memory via PATHS in that moment.

In any case, I feel like we’ve been underestimating the impact the memories have on Eren. It seems like he actually starts to imitate the person whose memories he’s viewing. There’s several other instances where we see that. 

But the scariest part is, Eren is never aware of it. Whenever anyone brought it up, he’d always go “what? I didn’t do that”. It almost feels like he gets possessed by the person whose memories he’s reliving...

Episodes 87, 88, 89 & 90

aka volume 22

A lot of things are explained here and I must say I’m a bit confused. I guess it’s a lot of informations and I’ll need to read it again. Anyway. So the people of the walls are Eldians and they have been partly exiled there by the people of Mahr (I guess it’s Marley in English though) because they were tyrants. No wonder Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie thought they were the real monsters there.  So basically, you’re telling me that the people of the walls were like the first titans and that the “normal” titans are actually other Eldians who’ve been thrown there. We basically knew at this point that titan were people but, my man,  it’s still twisted. 

So let’s recap. We know that they are 9 titan shifters. So far we have : the original titan, the attack titan (Eren), the female titan (Annie), the armoured titan (Reiner), the colossal titan (Bertholdt / Armin), the beast titan (Zeke), Ymir’s titan. That’s seven, that means there are two new titans to meet and I’m soooo excited. (That’s probably what Hangi must feel all the time). 

Anyway, I’ll just throw in some random thoughts now : 

- Carla Jaeger was eaten by her husband’s first wife. Talking about twisted ...

- Eren : *does anything* Hangi and Levi : It’s nothing, probably just teenage hormones

- Ok, so I know Yumikuri is pretty much canon at this point but this felt good all the same :

- When Eren and Frock are arguing, Jean looks so offended like fighting with Eren is his privilege or something. I love them, I hope they never stop bickering

- And finally, this : 

This is my new favourite picture, just look how happy they are

Oh and I almost forgot... Wall Maria has been retaken, pretty much all titans have been exterminated. I don’t know I had expected it would be a big thing or something but it felt rather ... smooth.
