Jamaica Colosseum Mall farewell celebration - Queens NYC 2/21/2026

The end of an era. For those of us who grew up in Queens, The Colosseum was a hub. It was social media before social media. Before we graduated to 42nd street and SoHo, there was Jamaica Ave and 165th. You could buy jewelry, weed, mixtapes, DVDs, video games, sneakers, clothes, and get tattoos all in the same block. From gang fights, infamous shootings and robberies, legendary music videos, the numerous name drops in your favorite rap songs, the "Coli" will forever be legendary. I saw ppl from Harlem, LI, SI, BK, LES, NJ come to experience it for the last time. Shoutout to all the faces I haven’t seen in nearly 20 years. #qgtm
