cory's favorite holiday tradition with his uncle is wearing ugly christmas sweaters and baking cookies! licorice shares a cookie with margarine, who, as a lil' bug-type, gets chilly during the winter months, even when inside.

it's still the holiday season right? right??

den mother nana plays hide and seek with the kits of the den, and allen, who's been slowly recovering emotionally from his past, joins in. but he experiences painful memories after accidentally closing himself in a closet. nana rescues him, but he runs off. now it's kanda to the rescue!

this my the last submission of 2023! a whole comic, which i haven't done in years. here's to more fun art in 2024!

one of the den mothers, eeko, was assigned to help allen make a vessel, which is a magical construct. the hope is a little friend will break him out of his shell.

allen wants a very specific pattern on his vessel, but gets distant when asked about it. eeko worries they may have poked an internal wound by accident, so they quickly and successfully diverts the topic to what allen wants the vessel to look like.

monday helped allen recover from his wound, but it left a nasty scar physically, mentally, and emotionally. he's very quiet and is really only friends with kanda (who's a jerk to everyone except allen). monday hopes allen will recover with time.
