Kido was the type that did not give off the air of someone that would be easily embarrassed because of some obvious things, more or less like an actual girl. Prime reason why she disliked suddenly acting like this all because of one person. She grew up more so interested in beating up bullies, and counting the number of band aids that covered her by the end of the day. There was a loss of count when it came to how often she was confused for someone of the opposite gender, not even her speech patterns gave someone a hint as to who was actually under the hoodie that she rarely seemed to take off, all of which more than likely aiding with why she was having a hard time adjusting to the situation at hand.
There was a slight feeling that the female had, an inkling that her normally intimidating look would not work as well as it usually does. However, she does not expect him to look amused by it, a look she catches from the corner of her eye. “Don’t laugh.” Warning given before said action is even done, not like she was going to do anything about it right away. Words much less effective due to lack of eye contact being made, though it’s up to debate if a difference would have been made or not.
Upon hearing the all too familiar name, Kido knows exactly where to place all her anger towards. Mentally, she promises herself that she’d get back at the younger, but she wouldn’t give the reason, deciding that he should figure that out for himself. If he couldn’t, then that will be his own fault. It did slightly sting a little knowing that her brother would so readily give her up like that. First kisses are rather important things, and here she was unable to have the freedom to choose who it was going to be with because someone decided for her. It already happened now, so there was no point in hanging onto it, she’d still punch him sooner or later. “It’s usually a good reason if that makes it any better.” And it probably doesn’t, but she knew that already.
Close proximity once again regained, is not too appreciated by the female. The urge to push the male back with the palm of her hand is resisted though. “No, not even if you ask.” Words spoken with the sort of stubbornness she was known for, much too prideful to let anything but that show. Some shreds of dignity had to be regained, and that couldn’t happen if she agreed with the male. Whether it was true or not really, and even she did not know the answer to that, not a clear one anyway. “Besides, you obviously got the thing you wanted, so why do you want another?” For one that grew up right alongside two boys, she had a hard time figuring that specific gender out, having given up fully once the early teens hit.
At the feeling of the hand placed on her head, does the female turn forward. It only lasts for a small moment however before she blinks once, and turns her head back to the side as the older continued talking. “Hiding has its advantages.” She half mutters, hands placed in the pocket of her hoodie, and shoulders shrug once. However, she does allow herself to finally face the male, annoyed by the fact that her face still feels hot but not as bad as it did before. “I can’t even hide like I want to because you keep staring at me, but whatever. I prefer a different term anyway. Besides, no one taught me what to do when someone kisses you, so you can’t blame me.” She lets out a small sigh, and shakes her head before speaking again. “You can leave if you want, so don’t feel obligated to stick around. It’s not like we had sex or anything.” Not like most people do anyway, but she was able to bite that part back.
