WHO GOT A VIDEO OF ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND DANCING?!!? I WANT ANSWERS!!!
Mike: You know, and heās a⦠how can I place it?⦠Heās just a little catalyst, you know, for good, bad and everything in between.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2015
Some of your favorite movie SFX and how they were inspired
I need to find a foley artist so I can study their brain. It must be a wonderful state of mind.
Truly this is where all my weirdness stems from, still he's the reason why I picked up a guitar and started playing
Doing gods work on Twitter
And it's should be titled "Green Day: Playing With Ourselves" really bring back the 90s Green Day in full swing hahahahahaha
Interviewer: Music is an emotional experience, and some of your songs are so emotional. Do you ever feel overcome by the emotion when you're performing, or are you somehow in performance mode so you can rise above it?
Billie: I definitely go there. Like that line 'I'm like a son that was raised without a father,' ā that's a button-pusher for me. Also with Forever Now, and also lately with playing '21 Guns' acoustic ⦠when I get emotional is when I hear people singing along ā when I hear voices that loud. I think with Green Day, we create an atmosphere that's as close to a European crowd that you can get ā with people singing along, almost like a soccer anthem. And I love seeing people who are normally self-conscious when they lose it. I try to push people to just lose it when they come to our shows. Some nights, people are so pent up with energy, they don't even know that they have inside them. And I try to get people to dance like no one's watching and sing like no one's listening ā just go for it!
It has always struck me that Billie possesses such power to create something beautiful out of ordinary, or even vapid or ugly, especially after I went to visit Christie Road in flesh. Thereās literally NOTHING there, a little dirt road in a deserted land. It felt like the end of the world when I was walking along those tracks⦠such desolation and loneliness! Yet to him, itās the one place that takes away his strains of being lonely and makes him feel like him again. Itās his escape, his paradise, his home. He turned such a forsaken and boring place into a poetic beautiful being. And itās not the only time that he has done that. Just listen to Welcome To Paradise, which is quite self explanatory; Jesus of Suburbia - a story of runaway finds an echo in its listeners; and those common yet so striking images in Still Breathing⦠He sees those things, and then he lets us see it, too. Billie Joe truly is gift to us.
It doesn't matter if it's literally nothing, it's a Green Day landmark and my girlfriend and I are going to visit Christie Road, Oakland, 924 Gilman, Longview House all of it one day!
This is my favorite photo of me with my custom built Billie Joe Armstrong "Blue" while I'm wearing my custom made Kerplunk! T-Shirt and wearing my tour hoodie from the 99 Revolutions Tour. I love this guitar so much and I love playing it everyday because I'm playing my heroes guitar and not a lot of people get to do that.
Billie Joe: I don't want the USA tour to end
Me: add a foxboro hottubs tour
This man is where I get about 99% of my dancing moves from or how I dance while I play guitar... MR. BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!

Billie: āā¦and youāre about to win a brand new car from Subaru! ā¦Iām gonna destroy that thing. Iām gonna hit it with a bat. Iām gonna hit it with my guitar⦠give me a guitar.ā [x]
I made this... and I couldn't be more prouder of it. Thanks for all the laughs Brad! This one is for you!
Please don't take this as a joke, I know you're religious do you believe in demons? I am asking because I can't help but think my family is cursed for lack of a better word
Sure, I consider myself a Christian so yeah. Though Iām not the person to come to if you think your family is cursed.
