@kidzbopbongzilla
I had these platforms from all topic and I never wore them bcz they were ugly, but i painted them and I really like them now ^_^
diy!
My first time painting with bleach! I'm open to suggestions for designs!! The material is super light so I don't think I can really do patches or too much hardware so I figured this would be the perfect chance to try it out. Unsure if I want to add any words (I have my other political jacket going still) or if I should just stick to designs even though I'm shit at painting.
Stamp :3
For patches and public walls (lol totally kidding Im a law abiding citizen/j)
Making more patches and spencils about gender affirming healthcare because yk, I live in Florida and still can't access it (Please help)
I added a water bottle pocket to my pants!
This came up due to the fact I use Lyft bikes to get around and they don't have bottle holders, so I placed this pocket here because this part of my leg remains relatively upright while pedaling.
Heres the initial proof of concept
But it looked rather silly especially when not in use. It also flopped around a lot when a full drink is being held and I was walking around so I started to look into ways to collapse it and secure it when in use.
First attempt came up with this:
Which looks nice, but wouldn't help restrain the movement of the pocket with a bottle in it.
So I moved to this belt design, using straps I had designed for the pants in an earlier iteration.
And it works like a charm.
Holds the bottle in place, is easy to fold away, and looks nice in use.
Though not sure I like the red and might switch to black straps but I'd love to hear all your thoughts and possible improvements!
"Punk is about being safe and kind and having fun and standing against elitism and gatekeeping uwu" WRONG. PUNK IS ABOUT DESTROYING POSER WIMPS. PENIS BLAST.
For anyone curious about how my eyeball stencil turns out as a patch here's three I made as a commission!
I've done a lot of work on my crust jeans so I thought I'd show them off. I've been more into sewing than making patches but I wanna get back into that. More sewn details under the cut
ehh i felt like i hadnt posted diy stuff here in ages but it was the whole month of january so even longer
ive been working on some smaller projects so heres them all
turned an old wallet thingie i had laying around into a belt pouch (pouch to put on the belt, not pouch to put the belt in). the cisn't patch was gifted to me by the amazing @brazenedminstrel in a diy trade, and i also made the chaos star patch while meeting up with them.
made some more stamps for easy small patch making, and started work on a pair of army pants i had laying in my closet for months. i had to take em in in the back, added belt loops, painted the biohazard symbol on the pocket, and added the deer skull patch, which i designed after an actual deer skull i have in my collection of dead things.
lastly i made a small fish bag which holds my sewing supplies in case im crafting out of the house, the mouth can be pulled closed using the lace threaded through it.
cut up a fucked up pair of shorts for it’s fabric and pockets and sewed one of those pockets to the back of this skirt with a lil misfits patch on top :) i love it <3
the unseen, chat pile & crustbag patches added to my vest fuck yeah !!
Leaf bags!!!! Leaf! Bags! 🌿
These are little drawstring bags I made entirely by hand out of scrap fabric. They both have a brown fabric lining on the inside and the strings are made of braided yarn. I love these to death (I promise they're more green irl the camera I use makes green look more gray)
They were originally for dice but idk what I'll put in them yet. (I was kinda inspired by Orym of the Air Ashari) Also I used a back stitch for the embroidery 🌻
*****
[Image ID: three images of two small drawstring bags that look almost the exact same. They're both an oval shape that comes down to a point at the bottom to look like leaves, they're both green with a lighter green embroidery on both sides to mimic the lines on a leaf, and they both have brown braided yarn drawstrings that fray at the ends. The bags are about the size of an altiods tin. The first image is of both of them, one is open and the other is pulled closed. The second image is of the open one, and the third image is of the closed one. All images have a black background. End ID]
