can i make this really personal (i feel like i already did today so yh)

i started reading "you will get through this night" cus i really wanted to do so for a while now. in the beginning there's a paragraph about derealisation and depersonalisation, and it touched a nerve for me. in my senior year of high school i lived with that shit, derealisation specifically, constantly. and i was so scared i will never get my conciousness back, thought i'm going borderline insane. i never dived into research because it just happend sometimes and i got so used to that feeling that it didn't really matter? kind of. and now, when exams have passed and i'm still recovering from that living hell of a time, i finally know that it wasn't something weird and i wouldn't need to go to an asylum because of it.

and i'm only 60 pages into the book. i don't think i'll ever be able to fully express how grateful i am for the october of last year that made me meet with dan and phil
