I think hugs are important for Lukas and Jesse.

I like to think that it was just a response to them almost losing each other.

In my AU Lukas hugged Jesse after what happened in Skycity (Saw him fall off edge and most likely thought she was dead), Jesse hugged Lukas when he was free from PAMA's thrall, Lukas recognized the real Jesse from a hug, albeit choice dependant, and finally they hugged after the admin was defeated.

But I also think that’s it’s not just the hug it’s the fact that they recognize each other’s warmth

I need to start using He/Him prns for Jesse more lol
