Scuba Diva narrative

My new performance is about a character called Scuba Diva, who is a scuba diver in profession. She lives in the post apocalyptic universe where the earth is basically destroyed and those who survived it fled upward toward other planets, moons and comets. A really gross, potent fog now surrounds earth and below it live creatures (kinda like sea animals but in space) and people who want to escape the bureaucracy of the government. So there’s a black market beneath the fog and shady dealings that go on. Scuba Diva’s job is to dive beneath the fog and find the remnants of the world that was before. Then she has to either give it to the government, donate it to science/museums or sometimes she’ll keep certain artefacts to sell on to the black market or because she likes it. 

She’s really tough and doesn’t say much. She’s kinda like a mercenary, and kinda hates her job but deals with it. She lives in a shit apartment and watches tv a lot (everyone kinda does in this world) and she collects odd stuff. She’s a blend of tank girl and mad max and everything in this universe is camp and beautiful and glitzy and fake but everyone has to deal with it. 

It’s been about hundred years plus since people left the earth so Scuba Diva isn’t entirely related to the human race but at this point hardly anyone is. In the same universe Kiki the frog is a weather girl on a late night cable channel and there’s only about 3 viewers. She really wants to be famous, like Nichole Kidman in To Die For but isn’t very good at her job. She’s trying though. She has lots of pets and drinks a lot and is very bitter and pines after Zaza the at, who she is secretly in love with, though Zaza is with Hector. 

More will be added to the narrative as I go along. But I’m at a good point now and I really love where it’s going
