I knock up maxy in daily basis in fics because he's definitely the kind of guy who'd get mpregnant for SCIENCE!!! Idk, the allure of altruism etc. sounds like the kind of thing maxie would like. (Also they'll probably researching dittoes for this)
(Heck the convo will def go like this) A : "But this procedure is dangerous! I'll do it!!!"
M : "Would you resign yourself for a 9 months of no alcohol, no eating certain foods or taking certain medications, no sleeping sideways, illness, and many other things?"

Of course I hate making them into the standard hetslop tropes though, in my mind. Archie does most of the housework and cooking, lol (Maxie is banned from the kitchen, plus he easily lost track during cleaning, so he mostly is the breadwinner for his scientist job.)
