Here she is!! Fancy new kiln...is it a she or a he..? Maybe I should give it a name...or is that just weird? First firing is well underway but I’ve messed it up somehow and it’s not reaching temperature....I’ve tried to read the manual...honestly, I really have... my eyes go all swirly whirly after one sentence. I’ll get the hang of it at some point I’m sure 😬

It’s not been a swanky schmancy valentines but I’ve been giving my little shed-workshop some much needed love today....I haven’t worked in there in a while and in my absence mold has taken up residence! I’ve scrubbed the walls, had a general tidy up and finally fired up my new kiln, wooyeah! That should help to warm it up and send the damp back outside where it belongs! #springclean #shedlove

A whole year has flown by since my dear old pops died...we marked the milestone on a sunny, frosty day by planting a tree and some spring bulbs in his memory....whilst wearing one of his many hats!

These earrings were a bit of a happy accident...You set out to make something but some other idea filters through and takes over ..sometimes it works...sometimes not but I'm pretty pleased with these little beauties. They take my mind away to starry night skies and constellations, wearing them is like carrying a little galaxy around on your ears! This little ceramic crescent moon pendant is now on etsy! I made the gold tassel from a leather belt and the bead was saved from a broken necklace. Each ceramic pendant is hand rolled, cut, painted and pierced before firing in the kiln. It’s a long process but I love how the colours and textures have come out on this piece. This half moon pendant is on a hand cut soft brown leather strap and sits perfectly below the collar bone. This one is £35 plus p&p....dm me if you’d like it for yourself or a lucky friend!
