We are assuming that this message is coming from a genuinely curious external source, not a member of the rp, considering our members know that we have made the sad decision to close as of several hours before this message and also that "we" are just one admin who has been struggling a great deal.
But to answer your question anyway, it is the simple fact that there are not enough hours in our day to divide between our roles as a active writer, a functioning admin, a good employee, and a caretaker of several pets. On top of that, we have had a truly traumatic couple of months ooc. Activity-wise, the rp was always too small to consider enlisting in the help of a mod who would in turn perhaps be distracted from their writing with administrative duties.
So we fully agree, we just heart breakingly were not capable!

hello! how active is the rp? i see there aren’t too many members so i was hoping there’s still a bit of activity and writing going on?
At the moment, we are finally stabilizing in activity after the holidays which is a good sight to see. While not everybody is online and writing every single day and we do have some members who are struggling due to winter weather emergencies from time to time, we do have active writers here who would greatly benefit from the addition of more.
Our advice is this for all incoming members: Even though you have one week after joining to do your personnel files (in place of an introduction) and post your bios/plot calls, we strongly suggest entering with your personnel file already prepared. This way 1 of the 2 things that will delay your integration to the roleplay the most is already dealt with. The template for the personnel file is visible to all potential members here.
Hi, so I was just wondering something. I've recently been trying to get back into writing by joining directories and notice a lot of directories state you need to have a non-rp account thats been active for more than a month or in some cases longer than that. Why is that? Also does that mean it needs to have existed for that long or to have been active. Also why not a rp account? Just curious, hope you can help me out haha!
No problem at all! In most cases such as ours, rules like this are just a preventative measure. Admins will use a person's tumblr or aff account in combination with an alias to identify roleplayers. This limits the potential risk that writers can reapply while pretending to be someone else, for example someone who is blacklisted would have a harder time attempting to re-enter.
Unfortunately this is one of those situations where thanks to a malicious minority the well intentioned majority is subject to a rule that has now become common place in rp. That being said, we are flexible and most roleplays tend to be as well! In current times, au roleplays especially are not exactly in a position to limit access to potentially active writers.

Every stage in this event is open to a certain degree of tweaking story wise so long as the story line remains consistent and is consented to by the thread partner for that part. We also wish to be informed of any changes, so that those not involved with that particular stage can still be aware of what happened for their own story telling process.

SYNOPSIS. A group of vagabonds discover the temple in the spring of 2022 while seeking shelter and medical assistance for a member of their party who has was suffering from a severe case of pneumonia. Their entry was denied, due to a reckless mistake made by one of them during their trial run with the militia that cost multiple lives. With nowhere to go and no resources at their disposal, the weakest of their group succumbs to their illness and a grudge is born.

EXPOSITION. A mole within Buseoksa Temple is discovered, though not caught, as several militia members are intercepted while on route for a routine supply run. The group is stripped of their weapons, blind folded, and forced into a van before being dropped off (defenseless) in an unknown location. Now, they have no choice but to navigate their way back to the temple while equipped with no survival equipment.

Their choice to abandon their post creates an opportunity for the invaders to slip past the gates and subdue each of the five council members in their sleep and block access to the barracks and the armory.

Unfortunately, they are caught and labeled traitors before being added to death row with the others. To make an example out of the unruly behavior that occurred the night before, the first public execution is held and the mole is revealed.

⠀RESOLUTION. The final battle begins, the militia members and the defense who were cast out reunite at the outpost where they are able to safely prepare for a fight to take back their home.
