* Her real name is Sarah Colter.

* She's 35 years old at the time of the events in my AU.

* Has a 7 years old son Bobby (Robert). It was a happy coincidence in her case. She and her ex-boyfriend weren't even engaged, but they got married so their child could have something like a normal family. Alas they live apart. The boy sometimes lives with his mother, sometimes with his father (more often with the father).

* Struggles financially.

* She has an older brother called Cousin. She doesn't see him very often because of his criminal activities. He can't sit still, as she would say. Her son has never even met his uncle. She doesn't want any of the dangerous people her brother deals with to find out about her child. But Sindy's brother helps with deliveries of contraband alcohol to the underground bar where she works from time to time (a sort of guarantee that she won't be fired, at least for some time).

* Her father was a con man, who ended up hanged. Her mother is still alive and well with her second husband at the ranch. Sindy's not talking with her at all. Too many old grudges.

* Her main job is as a secretary at a local newspaper office.

* No perfume can mask the smell of tobacco. Cigarette smoke is the main characteristic her son gives when asked, "Who is your mom?".

Can I ask what does that looks like for him? Is it depression? Anything else? What thoughts go through his head and how does he spend his time alone like this hiding away?

I was kinda talking about it in this ask. But what we know for sure he's not ok (shocker) and a control freak. To stay afloat, he needs to know/feel that he's in control of the situation. Any situation. Even if it means harming himself, not to mention those around him. How can he control the situation if he feels like he's about to snap? On particularly difficult days, he can’t let anyone see a crack in his facade. So the best option for him is isolation. To put himself back together. You could say this approach was characteristic of his father, from whom Al actually picked up the habit. It’s a family trait.

Have Alastor and Mimzy ever gotten into a fight with each other before?

Of course! Even more often than you can imagine. Their different personalities and a perspective on life come into play. The urge to strangle each other also surfaces from time to time.

Just wondering I looked at an old comic of yours with Alastor and Adeline and wondered what she meant by the Faceless Man? Is it Al’s shadow like we see in the show or is it a hallucination? Honestly I find your au a lot more interesting than the show 🤩

I'm flattered 🙂‍↕️ And she was talking about their dad technically. Sometimes she realizes how much she takes after her father, and that scares her. That was the last thing she wanted - to look or act like him.

What was the bet between Alastor and Mimzy that required Alastor to do drag? Always been curious as to what the conditions of that bet was and who won it.

Just two drunk friends who started to argue about performance art. Mimzy said something about how Alastor doesn't know shit how much effort is to put the look together. So, Alastor said he pretty much has an idea, so Mimzy needed a proof. That proof required a dress that can fit a tall slinky dude like Al and in a place where Mimzy works the only tall gal is Sindy. One thing let to another, and here we have Al who did drag feeling very confident, celebrating his victory.

what program/brushes are you using?

Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai. Depending on what kind of illustration I wanna do. And I use pretty basic brushes, the ones that kinda imitate real-life drawing tools.
