I'm up late tonight preparing to go back to work and decided that the last of my tin of Flannel Coffee in my Altınok meerschaum pipe would be a good accompaniment to my dram and a few episodes of New Amsterdam
It's day 13 of marchmeerschaummadness and I've been meer only since IPSD still.
It's Saturday night, I've had a nice day out at the cinema to see the new #capatainamerica film and now I'm home to relax with a #bowl of #flannelcoffee in an #altinay #meerschaumpipe and because it's a Saturday night a wee #dram of #famousgrouse
Yesterday was International Pipe Smoking Day and as I was working I decided to treat myself by opening this tin of Flannel Coffee from Get Piped in my Meerschaum pipe while pottering about the sites at work. I only had one bowl but I enjoyed it fresh out of the tin, I'll be trying more in a few pipes over the next little while.
Day off today and it's time for another bowl of #lowcountry #cooper #tobacco it's an interesting blend with #orientals #brightleaf and #redVirginias it's very different from my usual wheelhouse and I'm not sure what I think about it so far. It's been well aged though with about 7 years of age on it.
The pipe is a #bones #pipe from the #upca #slowsmoke competition.
I popped open this tin a few days ago and left a couple of flakes out to dry out for tonight's smoke at work. It's a bit out of my usual wheelhouse, but I bought a few tins at the Chicago pipe show in 2023 and it had about 5 years of age on it then. So far I'm enjoying it in my little Norm Pipe that I like to smoke while working.
Finishing up my last shift this week after cleaning up the works motor in preparation for handing it over to my back to back. I'm relaxing and finishing off my pipe with a chapter of my current book.

I was well chuffed today to be presented with this gift at work, I have become the resident pipe smoker and following a discussion last week one of the guys surprised me with a pipe and some tobacco.
