Capelo Family | SF Bay Area Family Photographer

We are so excited and happy for our friends John and Jennifer! They are expecting a new baby in the next few months and we can't wait to meet the little one. They wanted to do their yearly family photos for their Christmas cards and this year they wanted something a little more glamorous. They got dressed up and they sure do clean up nicely. :) John, Jennifer, and Sofia are a beautiful and amazing family! And in case you didn't know, they own the deliciously tasty food truck Hill Country BBQ.

Kristen+Spencer | Manzanita, Oregon Wedding

What can I say about Kristen and Spencer? They are 2 of the most kind and thoughtful people that you'll ever meet. We are so blessed to call them as friends.

They had a gorgeous wedding in Manzanita, Oregon. Their whole wedding was based around 3 themes: creating spaces to help people connect with each other, embracing the natural elements (wind, sun, rain, and sand) as well as the unpredictability of being on the coast and lastly slowing down to experience each moment. 

Their wedding wasn't just a one day affair, they planned most of the weekend for their guests. Friday morning they organized a group hike at Ecola State Park followed by a lovely garden party. In the evening they had a awesome bonfire on the coast. Saturday morning they had yoga on the beach and then they had their awesome wedding! Each event was thoughtfully organized to help people connect with others, experience the natural beauty of the outdoors, and slowing down from their everyday lives. 

We loved how everything had a purpose and how it was designed not only to celebrate Kristen and Spencer's wedding but to spend time with close family and friends.

Loved loved loved Kristen's dress. However, Spencer is not to be overshadowed, he looked so handsome and sharp in his suit!

Spencer hand made all the ceramic cups. They were given to all the guests as a wedding favor. 

It was really amazing that they made the paella fresh on site.

They had paella for everyone! One was vegetarian and the other was seafood! What a fantastic idea.

MacGregor Family | Stanford Family Photographer

Tom, Alexis, and Myka are such a fun and adorable family. We absolutely loved that they all wore matching red converse shoes! How cute is that?! It was a blast being around baby Myka and her parents. There is so much love and laughter and Myka just steals your heart with her smiles.

Helen+Charmaine | Sunset Ranch, Hawaii Destination Wedding

What can we say about Helen+Char? They are 2 super talented, fun, generous, kind, and awesome people that you will ever meet. We are so glad to be able to call them friends and even more honored that we were their photographers for their wedding in Hawaii. 

We were very excited for their wedding because we knew it was going to be so fun and beautiful. Char+Helen chose an awesome location at Sunset Ranch, they had so many great details that expressed their personalities, amazing food (did we mention they had a whole roasted pig and a saimin bar?!) and most importantly they were surrounded by their closest family and friends.

We loved Char's bowtie and suspenders!

The cake toppers are representative of them. They designed them and 3D printed them. How cool is that?

Sarah+Brandon | Quail Hollow Ranch, Santa Cruz Wedding

One of the best things about shooting weddings is the people that you meet. Sarah and Brandon were one of those couples who were so gosh darn nice and sweet! We felt so appreciated and loved every minute of their wedding. Did I mention that they are a gorgeous couple too?

Phil and I were so excited to get back home and start editing their pictures.  Quail Hollow Ranch was beautiful and they had chosen so many great details. We especially loved all the cake toppers from their relatives that were used before. It was so neat to see all the different kinds and a great way to remember and celebrate family. 

Congrats again to Sarah and Brandon! Weddings like yours make our jobs the best!

Karen+Kristian | San Francisco City Hall Wedding

We love San Francisco City Hall weddings. The best part of city hall weddings is everything is stripped down to the bare essentials. Just you, your love, and the closest ones you cherish to witness it. When Karen contacted us to shoot their wedding a few days before their date, we jumped on the opportunity.

Karen+Kristian have been together for many many years with a good chunk of it being long-distance. And when I say long-distance, I mean Karen is in California and Kristian is in Norway. With Kristian coming to visit this time, they finally decided to get married in a low key wedding with their closest family and friends. We couldn't be happier for Karen+Kristian! Congrats again!

Nikki+Tyson | San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts Engagement Shoot

We love it when couples contact us to shoot their destination engagement photos! Nikki+Tyson are from Edmonton, Canada and they just got engaged a few months ago. With it being cold most of the year in Canada, Nikki wanted their engagement photos to be bright, colorful, and vibrant. Since they were visiting San Francisco, I think they got exactly what they wanted. It was a beautiful day at the Palace of Fine Arts and with Tyson being a huge Full House fan, we stopped by Alamo Park to check out the Painted Ladies. They also happen to be diehard San Jose Sharks fans and so we had to snap a few pictures of them in their sweet jerseys.

Olivia+Vi | Orange County Engagement Shoot Photographer

You really can't ask for more as a photographer when you have great people, a beautiful location, and golden hour to do a photoshoot. My cousin Olivia just got engaged and asked us to do their engagement photos when we were back in LA visiting family. We couldn't be more happy and for Olivia + Vi! We'll be even more excited for their upcoming wedding this summer in Hawaii!

Angela+Aaron | San Francisco Wedding Photographer, 1300 on Filmore

Angela and Aaron are two of the nicest people that we've met. They were so much fun to hang out with and talk to and on their wedding day, it was the same way. 

On the day of their wedding, they were so relaxed and sweet. Everything went smoothly and it was such an amazing wedding. It was a small and intimate affair, about 30 guests, but it was full of  love for each other and their close family and friends. We felt privileged to be apart of their special day.

Charmaine+Helen | San Francisco Engagement Shoot

We are so happy for our friends, Char+Helen! We were so excited to take their engagement pictures. With both of them being amazing creatives, they wanted to do a shoot that had lots of cool backgrounds throughout San Francisco. We shot at Sightglass Coffee, Blue Bottle, and walked around different neighborhoods. It was a great way to hang out with friends, have some good coffee, and take pictures.

We can't wait for their wedding in June in beautiful Hawaii!

San Francisco City Hall Wedding | Amaia+Joe

What better way to start off the new year than sharing a lovely San Francisco City Hall Wedding? Amaia and Joe were the perfect clients to work with. They were so easygoing and friendly. We were really honored they chose us to shoot their intimate wedding at San Francisco City Hall. Check out their wedding below.

I loved Amaia's BHLDN wedding dress and Badgley Mischka shoes! 

Her tattoo is really pretty.

Also loved the flowers!  Her bouquet is so beautiful! I love the colors and the different textures of the flowers.

Joe's son was their ring bearer.

Orange County Maternity Shoot | Lam+Anita

We are so happy for our friends Lam+Anita! They are expecting their first child in a few months and they are going to make awesome parents. Both Lam and Anita are so fun and loving and you can just tell in the pictures below. Congrats again guys! We can't wait to meet the little one soon!

Portland Engagement Shoot | Donny + Sarah

Donny and Sarah are our dearest friends and we were so excited to shoot their engagement photos in Portland. They are all about adventure, fun, and food and I think we covered all of that in beautiful Portland. :) Check out the great pictures below.
