mattybennet:
Matthew had been in a sour mood since leaving his parent’s house earlier in the morning when they both refused to tell him what the hell they were so smiley about. Of course, he didn’t actually cuss at them or was a sourpuss in front of them they didn’t deserve the negativity that was Matthew Chase Bennet. If he didn’t know better he’d have thought it had something to do with his sister, but with her last card she said she was headed towards Mexico from Las Vegas, and last he checked Mexico definitely wasn’t close to Seattle. Hearing his dogs bark coincide with the knock on his door Matty groaned jumping up from his lounging chair to open the door a curse already on his lips. “What the fuc- Kimmy?” The male was taken aback a few seconds before realizing he wasn’t dreaming and in that instant he wrapped her up in his arms into a giant bear hug his sour mood forgotten.
“Matty!” Kimmy shouted as loud as she possibly could, nothing but pure happiness in her voice as her feet left the ground, her big brother lifting her into a massive hug. “I got you, I got you!” She began laughing, hugging the older boy back. As much as she claimed her other friends to be her best friends, no one had as high a spot as Matthew did. He was her very best friend, no matter how much the two bickered or teased one another. Once he had let her go, she beamed up at him with a wide grin, doing a silly dance on her tip toes and pointing her fingers at him. “I got’cha! You had no idea, did you?!” Surprising people was just one of the many little joys in Kimmy’s life.
Kimmy had finally arrived in Seattle after quite a long drive from her most recent stop - Las Vegas, Nevada. And it was safe to say that she had had a good time. However, after a good two months away from her “home” in Washington, she found herself on the doorsteps of her older brother’s house with a sneaky grin and an obvious excitement, given he had not been told of her return. With a quick knock, she rocked back and forth on her heels.

Matthew's Moodboard feat. Kimberly 3/?
”The only rock I know that stays steady, the only institution I know that works, is the family.”
You’re free to freak out. We all have our moments, okay? Let it out. I’m right here for you. I’d never complain. You know that. I just may be incoherent because I’ll be sleepy.
Incoherent? That's an understand. I can barely understand a word that comes out of your mouth when you're up past one. It's just... I don't want to bother you with my problems. I mean, you have your own stuff to deal with.
I love you too, Kimmy. I’m here for you whenever you need me. I’m serious. Want to talk to me at five in the morning? Just barge into my room and I’ll be ready for you.
I know you are. I-I'm sorry I freaked out, I just... I don't know. Five in the morning? Alright, but I don't want to hear you complaining when I actually do it.
Layla raised an eyebrow at Kim’s reply, trying to stay in this awful character’s skin. So devout, so famil - you are his sheep, you are his child - familiar. “You are His sheep, you are His child. Everyone is,” Layla responded (or repeated, whichever one prefers), scratching at the pad of her index finger with the nail of her thumb. Her mouth was not se - know what he knew - sewn shut, she could speak freely, but there was no way in hell heck she would under these circumstances. Attempting not to sigh at this damn darn character, she continued, “You can find the purity that lies within! It’s within everyone!” At this point, Layla was simply saying whatever came to mind first – that strategy meant a lot of repeating what’d once been heard, but it meant even more bullshitting …faking? “The Lord hears all. You just have to let him.” Christianity was beginning to sound more and more like a cult to Layla.
Kim took two steps way from Layla, holding her two hands up before her. Things were definitely getting out of hand, and this conversation with her old friend seemed to get stranger and stranger. "I'm no farm animal, Layla. Any I'm not gonna lie, you're kind of freaking me out now." She admitted, not fully sure with herself whether she was joking or not. The brunette was about ready for the cameramen to pop out and tell her that she'd been punk'd, though something told her that this wasn't the case. Though something was up, it was clear Layla wouldn't be telling her any time soon. "I'm not sure if you got hit with the Bible on your way here, but this whole 'purity' and 'lord' thing is getting pretty weird."
