In Aeschylus, Cassandra screams in translation. She is a noble Trojan, now enslaved by the Greeks, and the house she is dragged to is a horror. The universal peculiarity is that they ride their victims. Their counterparts are the spectral horses who carry their riders away at a mad gallop. The fear significance of horses in dreams presents in child psychology research. The essential feature is the rhythm, which assumes sexual significance only secondarily. If we take these factors into account, it will not surprise us to hear that the maternal world-ash #Yggdrasill is called 'Schreckross' (terrible horse) in German. The horse too is a #TreeOfDeath (#fate in #fairytales). The Persian word for coffin means 'wooden horse'. #WolfgangPauli from Science and #WesternThought ⚗📚——— "In terms of sheer intellectual brilliance, Wolfgang #Pauli was probably second to no #physicist of this or any period (according to #MaxBorn Pauli's genius exceeded even that of #Einstein). Intellectual sloppiness or logical inconsistencies would bring down the wrath of Pauli on the poor #soul unfortunate enough to be its author. He was a brilliant and ruthless critic of ideas, and virtually every physicist of his generation looked to the mind of Wolfgang Pauli as one of the mandatory tests to pass if a theory had any chance of survival. Pauli's own positive contributions were profound and numerous, including the famous "Exclusion Principle" in the prediction of the existence of the neutrino some two decades before it was discovered. He received the #NobelPrize in #physics in 1945.
