#throwback These were both taken in a dingy hotel in #detroit while I was getting ready to see #thedamned at St. Andrews Hall. I thought I was hot shit back then, but now when I look at these photos I see a lot of darkness. I was about 20. Not legal to drink in the states, but drink I certainly did. I was way too skinny. Yeah I was young, but I was also pretty into popping ephedrine and raving. I also wasn't eating. I can say this now, finally without shame, my partner at the time was extremely emotionally abusive. But I was young and didn't know better. Part of my manic personality is that I don't eat when I am extremely happy or extremely depressed. It's hard to know which was which here, but I feel a real sadness when I see these photos, so... On a lighter note, I loved my hair back then and this red, spider web lace dress I got from #lechateau of all places was on point.
