…Hello, it’s me Loki again :) You know, the president of the literature club! There are also some other members, but they aren’t important right now. The school’s festival is coming up, and there is still a lot to do… but you will help me, right? :) — this story isn’t suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed. (TW: depression)

You opened the door to the classroom, your bag slung over your shoulder.
“[ ], you made it!”
“Tch…! You were almost late again, you know?”
“…”
“Oh, welcome [ ]! Did you do your assignement? :)”
You nodded, stepping inside and closing the door behind you.
It has been two weeks since you joined the literature club. It was hardly something that felt foreign to you by now, and over the countless meetings and shared texts, you had come to know a lot more about the different members.
And despite them being all unique and peculiar, you grew fond of each and every one of them.
You set your bag down by the windowsill, rumaging through the contents before pulling out a book. It was another psychology book Kaiser has lend you to read, something you two bonded over ever since you joined.
Speaking of whom, was already leaning against the windowsill, eyes averted as if he was not intentionally positioning himself in your proximity.
You just shook your head at that, stiffling a laugh. You admit, sometimes Kaiser could be downright endearing. You tugged on his sleeve, returning the book to him.
“Thank you Kaiser, that book was really good as well…!”
You said, watching as a faint red hue spread across the blonde’s face. He averted his eyes, swiftly snatching the book out of your hands.
“I—! I guess it is alright…”
He muttered, his blue eyes showing you a glimpse of something warm and soft, armored and guarded by his normally prickly and arrogant demeanor. He seemed to hesitate for a bit, before he fiddled with the pages of the book.
“We…we can discuss the contents if you want…”
He muttered, but before you could say anything, another member popped up behind you, redirecting your attention to a familiar red head.
“No time. We need to exchange our assignements.”
Hugo exclaimed, earning an annoyed eyeroll from Kaiser. You hummed in agreement, pulling out your text from your bag. Hugo was already eyeing it, his own text in his hand, eager to hand it to you.
“..right. The festival is in a few days, right?”
You said, a mix of anticipation and nervousness bubbling up. Despite numerous protests, Loki insisted on participating in the school festival, saying that it would bring in more members. He even planned some activities to do and a schedule, like the ever reliable leader he was.
You would present your texts in front of an audience, a task that was hard for everyone who wasn’t in the limelight all the time (aka to everyone except Loki). But he insisted that it could be fun, and alongside yours and Bunny’s encouragement, you got Hugo and Kaiser to agree to it as well.
Hugo hummed, his dark eyes skimming over his written letters before handing it to you. You handed him your text as well, watching as everyone began to exchange their texts.
You watched as the red-head quietly read your text, his gaze seemingly taking apart each and every word. Hugo was by far the most well-versed in the world of writing, and you two spend a lot of time reading and correcting your texts together.
He critiqued a lot, but he also made you improve the most, making you seek him out often to look over your texts.
You two read eachothers writing in silence before he returned the paper, an impressed hum escaping him.
“You are a fast learner,”
He praised, making your heart jump. You chuckled sheepishly, handing back his paper as well. You couldn’t help but be sheepishly proud of your product, especially after being praised by someone like Hugo.
“Only because you helped me so much. Your writing is still the most impressive out of everyone in the club…”
You muttered, taking one last look at the elegant handwriting on the neat paper, not noticing the faint pink blush on his face. Hugo covered his mouth to hide his smile, clearing his voice as he muttered something under his breath.
“Ah… thank you, [ ]…”
You simply smiled, before casting your gaze through the classroom. Your gaze fell onto Bunny, who was simply staring down at the desk, his expression unreadable. It was like he was disassociating, and frankly, you felt concerned.
Ever since you joined the club, you felt as if Bunny’s mental state was worsening more and more. Your eyebrows crinkled at the thought, and you made your way to your childhood friend, sitting down in front of him with your text in hand. As you approached, the white-haired young man perked up, as if surprised that you approached him.
“…oh, hey [ ]!”
Bunny exclaimed, his tone taking on a more cheerful lilt. You frowned at that, not buying it. No matter his tone, his eyes were even duller than before, and it was getting more and more apparent that he was just putting up an act.
Nontheless, you mustered up a smile, handing him your text.
“Hey Bunny… how was your day?”
You asked hesitantly, making him freeze up. A moment of silence passed, before he forced out a laugh, leaning in.
“Pfft—! Why are you so uptight? You are talking to me like I’m a stranger, [ ]~”
He said, grinning. You flinched at that, noting the hurt undertone in his voice. You pressed your lips together at that, a feeling of unease spreading through you.
No matter how hard you tried, it always led to this: Bunny seemed to be adamant on pushing you away from his issues, a truth that honestly hurt you more than you would like to admit.
Because Bunny was your friend, one that you had for the longest time, and the thought of him potentially not seeing you in the same light made you uneasy and frustrated.
“No, it’s not that… I’m just worried about you…”
“Whaat? About little ol’ me?”
Bunny retorted, making you crease your eyebrows. He was dismissing you again. He then skimmed through your text, a flash of hurt flickering through him as he seemingly realised something. Another moment of silence passed, one in which you caught a glimpse of his solemn expression. You gulped.
“Bunny…”
“Ahaha,”
He interupted, handing your text back. He smiled, humming.
“You improved so much, [ ]… you and Hugo have been practicing a lot, huh?”
He said, and you froze at the saddened expression on his face, one that he was trying to poorly conceal with an empty laugh. You wanted to say something, before you were interupted again.
“I’m so happy for you, [ ]. You found so many other friends now,”
He grit out, not even daring to look into your eyes. They were locked onto the wooden surface of the desk, avoiding your gaze and even your text entirely.
You couldn’t help but bite your lip, only letting out a quiet hum.
“I… I guess… hey, can I read what you wrote, Bunny?”
You said, opting to distract the both of you from the weird athmosphere. But that was shot down almost immediately as well, with Bunny taking one look at his own paper before letting out another hollow laugh.
“Ahaha… the thing is… I actually didn’t write anything for today…”
He sheepishly admitted, making you freeze.
“Bunny…”
“Yeah, I… forgot about it, s-sorry…”
He stammered out, something that was uncharacteristic for him. You pressed your lips together, a look of concern crossing your face.
“I—is everything okay, Bunny?”
You asked firmly this time, refusing to dance around the issue any longer. Bunny seemed to notice your intention as well, an uneasy expression flickering across his face.
“What do you mean by that, [ ]…?”
He hesitantly asked, making you squirm in your seat, trying to formulate your concerns into words.
“I…I just think that you look a bit under the weather recently, and I don’t know if—“
“[ ].”
Bunny’s firm tone brought you out from your rambling, making you look up to him, noting a small smile settling itself on his face. He took your hand in his, his thumb rubbing soothing circles on the back of your hand.
“I’m just a bit tired, okay? I just need to rest for a bit, and frankly, the best way you could help is by… acting like everything is normal. Because frankly, it is.”
He said, making you stop. You mulled over his words for a bit, surprised to see Bunny so… serious. You gripped his hand a bit tighter, before a small sigh of defeat escaped you.
“Hah…I guess you are right. Then… I’ll leave you be, okay? Don’t overwork yourself, Bunny.”
You said, making the small smile on Bunny’s face widen a fraction.
“I will, don’t worry [ ],”
He said, giving a small wave as you stood up from his desk to go to Kaiser. You felt his eyes on you as you sat down in front of the blonde, an uneasy feeling pooling in your stomach at the prospect of leaving Bunny alone with his thoughts.
— — —
“…”
Kaiser read through your text, humming as he gave it back to you.
“Not bad,”
He quiped, making you raise an eyebrow.
“Is that all?”
You mused, which was answered by him shrugging, resting his chin on his hand.
“Well, you didn't seem to be very interested in my text either. You constantly looked over at Bunny, [ ]. It honestly made me a bit angry, you know?”
He bit back, rendering you without any comebacks, since it was true. You took a deep breath, sinking your head apologetically.
“Ah…I’m sorry Kaiser…”
You murmured, pressing your lips together.
“It’s just… I don’t know, don’t you feel like Bunny has been behaving weird lately? He said that he was just tired, but still…”
You muttered, making Kaiser think for a bit, before shrugging his shoulders.
“Well, at least it’s a bit more quiet now…”
He quiped with a cocky grin, one which was immediately shut down by your warning glare. He then cast a look over at Bunny, before coming back to you.
“Listen,”
He said, sighing.
“Sometimes, someone just has a shitty day. Or a shitty week. Everyone has it, and no one can be cheerful and chatty all the time, not even Bunny. Besides, aren’t you guys like… best buddies?”
He asked, slightly cringing at his wording, followed by a slow nod from you. The blonde hummed again, reaching over to flick your forehead.
“See? I think you should have a bit more faith in your best friend. Besides, I think that Bunny would confide in you if there really was something wrong with him,”
Kaiser exclaimed, his words etching themselves into your mind. You thought about it, pressing your lips together. Maybe Kaiser was right. Maybe you should trust Bunny more, and his capability to handle some things by himself.
“…I mean really, he talked about you constantly before you joined. It was honestly annoying, now that I think about it,”
Kaiser snorted, running a hand through his blonde hair. You felt a warm feeling pool in your gut at that, a small smile forming on your face at the thought of Bunny rambling about you to the others.
“But I guess if you’re really worried…”
Kaiser muttered, catching your attention.
“Maybe our dear president could talk some sense into that overgrown rabbit. As arrogant and pretentious as he is, he is pretty good at talking to people. Comes with being famous, I guess.”
He said, making you perk up. You turn your head, looking at the club president, who was currently quietly conversing with Hugo at the other end of the classroom.
Loki was admittedly still an enigma to you. You were much closer with all the other club members, and aside from casual small talk, you still did not get to talk to Loki a lot. It was not that you did not like him, it was just that you never really had the need to. But after taking one last look at Bunny, your gut told you that this was the time.
You contemplated for a bit, before shooting a small smile of gratitude at the blonde in front of you.
“Thank you, Kaiser,”
You said, bidding goodbye to him before standing up, going over to Loki and Hugo.
— — —
“Um…”
You still felt nervous, talking so casually to the school’s football super-star, but you encouraged yourself to do it anyway. You know, for Bunny’s sake.
“Loki? Sorry, but can we… talk for a second?”
You said hesitantly, making the president freeze up, seemingly not really expecting you wanting to talk to him.
“I-it isn’t something bad, just something that has been on my mind for a while—“
You reassured him, before being interrupted by Loki.
“Y-yeah...! I mean, of course, no worries, [ ]. Hugo, can we continue our conversation next time?”
Loki hastily exclaimed, shooing the red head away before inviting you to sit down in front of him. You gulped, sitting down on the chair, noting that he looked as composed and flawless as always. His golden eyes shone expectantly, urging you to voice your concerns.
“Well, [ ]? Should I give you some insight on your writing, or would you like to read mine? If I had known that you would read my text, I would have put more effort into writing it, ahaha…”
He mused, his voice smooth and comforting, making a part of you immediately calm down. You shook your head, offering a small smile.
“No, it’s not that…”
You muttered, nodding towards Bunny.
“I’m just concerned for Bunny…”
You said, not noticing how Loki visibly deflated, his shoulders sagging.
“I don’t know… I have a feeling that something is wrong, but he won’t tell me… I’m really worried about him.”
You admitted, not daring to look into Loki’s eyes, feeling a bit embarrassed to go to the club president for that kind of matter. It was like you were a kid again, going to cry to the teacher whenever someone didn't play with you. But before you could even take it back, Loki’s chair scratched against the floor as he stood up.
“…I see!”
He said, letting out a small chuckle.
“And you want me to talk to him, correct?”
He exclaimed, making you gulp.
“…! Well, if it isn’t too much trouble—“
“Nonsense!”
Loki said, momentarily leaning in, a mirthful expression crossing his face as he observed you.
“You are so cute, [ ]… of course you aren’t bothering anyone! Don’t worry… I’ll fix it for you.”
He said, and before you could even ask what he meant by that, he was already off, walking towards Bunny. You saw them exchange a few words, before both of them dissappeared outside of the classroom.
You were momentarily frozen in place, not having expected the conversation to go by so… fast. It was almost jarring, how efficient and swift Loki was prepared to handle all of this.
But then again, that just goes to show what kind of a good leader Loki really was.
You sighed, a wave of relief flooding you. Loki really was a good president, taking care of everyone so well. You were sure that Bunny is going to be okay soon.
You waited at the desk for a while, just idling around, when another voice cut through the silence.
“Did you talk with Loki?”
Kaiser appeared behind you, plopping down in Loki’s seat. You nodded.
“Good. I saw them talking to eachother when I came back from the bathroom,”
The blonde quiped, making you hum in aknowledgement. You felt a small, genuine smile spread over your face, and sighed.
“I’m glad… maybe I am overreacting, but it’s better to be safe than sorry, if I’m being honest. Bunny is my best friend after all, and I won’t leave him hanging!”
— — —
Some time passed before Loki entered the room again, with the same confident smile on his face you were familiar with. He gathered you all up at a table, calling for a club meeting.
You interrupted him when noticing someones absence.
“Wait… where is Bunny?”
You said, a feeling of dread spreading through you. The others also noticed, eyeing the president, whose smile didn’t falter for a bit.
“…ah, I sent him home. He seemed to be under the weather today, so I figured that it would be best if I let him rest.”
Loki chirped, making the same uncomfortable feeling bubble up inside you. You pressed your lips together.
You had a feeling that this was the wrong decision.
But before you could say anything, Loki was already continuing, demanding your attention.
“Well, aside from that, I would like to remind everyone that the school festival is on monday~”
He mused, followed by a groan from both Kaiser and Hugo.
“Don’t remind me…”
Kaiser grit out, with Hugo nodding in agreement. Loki laughed, seemingly taking joy in their misery.
“Sorry, sorry, but I can’t bend reality~”
He said in a sing-song voice, chuckling.
“But there are still some things that need to be done before the festival, aside from just preparing our texts,”
He exclaimed, turning towards Kaiser.
“Kaiser, can you make those Bread rusks again? It would be a nice snack for everyone visiting us.”
The president said, followed by a begrudged nod after some mumbling, eliciting an amused chuckle from Loki. He then turned to Hugo, nodding.
“And I thought that you could be responsible for some interior decorations, Hugo. Don’t worry, I’ll arrange a sizeable budget for you to work with~”
He said, his honeyed eyes twinkling. Hugo seemed to agree, followed by a raised eyebrow from Kaiser. The blonde crossed his arms, nodding towards the president.
“And what would you do for this joint project, your majesty?”
He mocked, which apparently flew over Loki’s head. He just gave a chuckle, before continuing.
“I will make some pamphletes to hang around the school,”
He exclaimed, turning to you afterwards.
“… and [ ] will help me with that. I have a press conference for the football association before that, but you can accompany me there for a nice lunch. And after that, we can go to my house later to work on it! I even have a new fireplace installed, so it’s really cozy—“
He rambled on, before it was cut off by Kaiser, who gave a sharp glare towards the other.
“Really? Are you fucking serious, Loki?”
He snarled, crossing his arms.
“You like, have the easiest job from all of us! Why do you need [ ] to help you?”
he exclaimed, followed by Hugo’s agreement. His black eyes seemed to assess the president harshly, a dissapointed glint in his eyes.
“He’s right…and pulling them along on your fancy media day, are you trying to impress them or something?”
Hugo quipped, making Loki sputter.
“C-come on, that’s not it—“
“Of course it is! Don’t lie to yourself, you always thought that you were better than us anyway. Honestly, your god-complex is fucking exhausting, even more so now that [ ] joined,”
Kaiser huffed, glaring at the president. At that, Loki’s eyes seemed to sharpen momentarily, his gaze freezing into a frightening glare. You gulped, not daring to say anything at the thickening of the tension, the temperature of the room dropping by several degrees as Loki and Kaiser seemed to have a staring contest between eachother.
But Kaiser didn’t seem scared by Loki’s gaze, instead seeing it as a challenge. He stepped forward, his blue eyes sharpening.
“…you guys also have Bunny to help you, you know. If anything, you are hogging [ ] all for yourself as of late, no?”
Loki grit out, forcing a razor thin smile to stretch across his face. Kaiser scoffed, growing more and more agitated by the second, his temperament seemingly a ticking timebomb.
“…hah! Bunny…? The one you demanded to go home? Oh fuck off, you are just trying to get rid of the competition!”
“Kaiser—”
“Here is a great idea,”
Hugo interrupted in the last second before Loki could say anything, stepping between the two boys before it could escalate any further. He turned his face, locking eyes with you.
“Why don’t we let [ ] decide? They are an autonomous human being as well, yes?”
He remarked, cocking his head in your direction.
This seemed to loosen the athmosphere a bit, both Kaiser and Loki calming down. The latter took a deep breath, before forcing an apologetic smile on his face as he turned towards you.
“…Hugo’s right. Sorry [ ], I guess we are all just excited to spend some time with you, ahaha…”
He chuckled, the warmth in his golden gaze returning in an instant, like a switch being flipped. You gulped, offering a small smile as well, waving him off.
Loki’s smile didn’t falter though, even widening a fraction as an air of smugness crossed him.
“Well [ ], who would you like to spend the weekend with?”
Loki.
Loki.
Loki.
Voting ended onJun 14
His smile widened, a bright twinkle in his eyes as a small cheer escaped him.
“Yayy! Don’t worry [ ], I promise you that it will be really fun!”
He said, stepping towards you with a pep in his step. You gulped, feeling Kaiser’s and Hugo’s gaze on you. The blonde was the first to speak up after a stunned silence, snarling.
“…Seriously? You barely have any shit to do!”
He protested, shaking his head. Hugo was quick to chime in as well, closing his book and glaring at the club president alongside the blonde.
“That’s right. That is unfair, we have so much more to do than you…!”
The red head retorted, but Loki seemed to be ignorant to their troubles. He just shrugged his shoulders, rolling his eyes in annoyance. It was a side that you didn’t knew existed, one that was significantly more petty and childish than his usual mature and charming demeanor.
“Well like I said, you guys still have Bunny to help you with~”
He shrugged, before focusing entirely on you again, brushing past your uncomfortable form with a smile.
“Anyway [ ], about lunch—“
“As if Bunny will be of any help! He will just be more depressed when he realises that you stole [ ] from him!”
Kaiser exclaimed, making you freeze up. Your eyes widened, looking at the blonde’s expression. Because beneath the frustration, you could see genuine concern dancing in his eyes. It was a rare sight, and one that shook you to your core.
You gulped, your palms suddenly growing sweaty.
You knew it. There was something more to Bunny than you originally thought.
"...[ ]? Don't listen to him, he just spouting nonsense to have you for himself—"
Loki couldn't even finish before you took action.
Gathering your courrage, you took a deep breath, moving to swiftly grab your bag from the windowsill.
“…! W-wait, [ ]?”
Loki sputtered, watching frantically after you as you gathered your things. You shot an apologetic smile towards the club president, before nodding towards Kaiser and Hugo.
“Sorry Loki…I changed my mind. I… I think that I will check on Bunny now. As for the festival preparation…”
You mulled things over, before coming to a conclusion.
“There are two days in a weekend, right? I can help Hugo on Saturday and Kaiser on Sunday, so that everyone can get their work done.”
You said, missing the croaked out “but what about me-“ from Loki, before dashing out, proclaiming that you would text Hugo and Kaiser later, leaving the three of them alone as you made your way towards your childhood friend.
The room was silent when you left it.
— — —
You didn’t realise that you walked quite a distance to your school, judging from the loss of air in your lungs after you practically sprinted to Bunny’s house.
You rang the bell, the noise of the electrical chime piercing through the silence. After ringing it for a few tmes, you grew frustrated, motioning you to fish out the emergency key from behing the fence.
You entered his front porch, gulping as you hesitated entering his actual home.
You remembered a time where you frequented his house pretty often when you were kids. This frequency decreased when you two grew older, a thing that you now regretted.
And something you were determined to fix.
Luckily, the front door was open, and you stepped inside, looking at all the small changes that occured as time passed. But you didn’t have time to dwell on them, ascending the stairs to the second floor.
Reaching Bunny’s room, you took a deep breath before knocking.
“…Bunny? We need to talk,”
You softly urged, hearing soft rustling coming from his room. There was some hesitation before the door eventually opened, revealing your childhood friend.
A huge sigh of relief left you at that.
“[ ]…?”
Bunny muttered, concern dancing through his eyes as he saw you in front of his door. You smiled, holding back your emotions.
“Bunny…”
You whispered, before going on your tippy-toes, pulling him into a hug. You felt his breath hitch, his arms trembling as they struggled to remain at his sides.
“[ ]… what are you doing here…? You were supposed to have fun with your new friends…”
He muttered, making a scoff escape you. You squeezed him closer to you, shaking your head.
“As if… I wanted to be with my best friend. You are far more important.”
You say, noting the stiffening of Bunny’s form. A moment of silence passed, before an empty chuckle escaped him, one that was hollow and defeated, making your heart squeeze.
“C-come on, [ ]… the others are way more fun…I'm—“
“I don’t care!’
You interrupted him, lifting your head to look into his eyes. They were dull and tired, and you could make out some eyebags. You frowned: god, you were so stupid. All these dark jokes, all the dismissals… how could you have been so blind?
You were angry at yourself, gritting your teeth. But you forced yourself to remain level-headed, taking a deep breath before continuing.
“Well, no— I do care, Bunny. I care so much. You are so important to me, it’s—“
“[ ].”
Bunny smiled, cupping your face. It was a smile that crumbled soon after though, growing wobbly the longer he looked at you.
“But I don’t want you to.”
A moment of silence passed. You blink owlishly.
“What…?”
“It’s true. I don’t want you to care for me. There is nothing worth saving. That… childhood friend you cling onto… is no longer there, [ ]”
He muttered, averting his eyes like he was shameful of himself. That action alone made you crease your eyebrows together, pressing your lips together.
“Or actually, it never was there in the first place,”
He croaked out, trembling slightly. He didn’t even dare to look at you as he said the next sentence.
“The truth is, that I always had horrible depression all my life. Even after I got adopted and got a new home, it… just wouldn’t go away,”
Bunny confessed, blinking away the tears spilling over his eyes, seemingly remembering a dark memory. He looked through the hallway, his gaze flickering through the framed pictures of him and his adoptive father. They were numerous pictures of the many trips they made, from a roadtrip through Spain to a vacation in Japan.
“Even though I have all of… this now. I’m fine now, I have such a good life, but still…! It just wouldn’t go away, [ ]. Each day I still struggle with getting out of bed. To even exist.”
He bit his lip, preventing a sob from escaping him. You frowned; the reason he was late to school everyday was… because of this?
“Doesn’t this mean that I’m a horrible person? After all, only a despicable person like me could be so ungrateful for these things, for all these efforts, right?”
He locked his eyes with you again, the dull color of his red hues making you stop.
“See? That’s the look. That dissapointed look when you see that I’m not worth the trouble. Lok-everyone was right. I will just drag you down with me if you continue to care for me.”
He said, making you shake your head almost immediately. You pulled him towards you, trying to convince him from the opposite. It was frantic and uncoordinated, but you were growing desperate.
“But I want to! I…I want to do that for you, nothing has to change! You will not drag me down, nor will I leave you behind, I believe in us!”
You said, earning a shocked blink from Bunny at your dedication. You smiled reassuringly.
“We are best friends, Bunny. And that will never change, I will never see you as anything else but that—“
You said, but before you could continue, you were taken aback at the sight of tears spilling over his dull eyes, rendering you speechless. A silent beat passed, only interrupted by the others sniffles. You never saw Bunny cry. Seeing it for the first time made you freeze up instantly.
“Just like it always was, huh…?”
He whispered between sobs, pressing his lips together. He tried to muster up a smile, to no avail. The gesture crumbled apart almost instantly.
“Fuck… I really am a horrible person. Having someone like you care for me, and still not being satisfied…”
Bunny wiped his tears away with the back of his hand, although it couldn’t help the new ones from falling. You were hesitant, before reaching out to grab his shoulder.
“What-what are you saying…?”
You said, making even more sobs escape him. He let out another laugh, his entire form seemingly losing stability. You swiftly moved him to his bed, ignoring the mess inside his dimmed out room.
“I should be happy that you found new friends…”
Bunny muttered, burrying his face in his hands, not letting you see his expression. Out of shame or fear, you didn’t know.
“But instead… it just hurts so much. So fucking much.”
He said, letting out a shaky breath. You stiffened, moving to embrace him. He didn’t reciprocate, but you didn’t need him to. He sobbed more as he melted into your embrace, muttering curse words and profanities at himself for accepting your affections.
“…But it also hurts when you care for me. I don’t understand,”
He whispered into the fabric of your uniform.
“I hate it, [ ]. I hate that I love you so much, [ ].”
He confessed, detaching himself before you could register his words. He hugged his knees, his face fallen in sheer exhaustion. You noticed that he didn’t bother to hide it anymore, instead looking at you with his dull gaze, awaiting your reaction.
You watch as a small smile appeared on his face, carefully inspecting your surprised expression.
“Well? Is this enough to deter you? The fact that someone like me is hopelessly in love with you, to the point that I even regret introducing you to new people?”
He croaked out, making you hitch a breath. You carefully mulled over your words, before you shook your head, a firm look crossing your face.
“You may think of yourself as a horrible person, but I do not,”
You say, feeling your cheeks burning up.
“As a matter of fact, I feel very flattered that someone like you likes me,”
You say, scratching the back of your head. In all honesty, you have never seen Bunny as anything more than your ditzy best friend. But you also couldn’t lie that you saw him in a different light now, after you two began to spend so much time together at the literature club— wether or not this was romantic or not wasn’t important right now.
Bunny blinked, a look of fear and anticipation crossing his face as he studied your flushed face.
“Then…”
“But a romantic relationship is not what you need right now,”
You retorted, shaking your head. You mustered up a smile, reaching for his hand, squeezing it.
“What you need right now, is help. And I want to help you with that because I do like you, Bunny. A lot. And when you get that help, and are in a better place mentally…”
You locked your eyes with him, noting a small flicker of something else crossing his face. You wished that that something was hope.
“We can have this relationship talk again, yeah?”
You smiled, embracing him.
And after a while, he embraced you too. You smiled, feeling a warm feeling spread across your chest.
Yes. Everything will be okay.
Authors note: I hate it. I managed to play around with the voting poll so you would pick my route, but the author still refuses to see me as a love interest. Instead, you fell into that overgrown rabbit’s route. No offense, but he isn’t even that interesting. But don’t worry, I will get our happy ending no matter what! It just seems like I have to resort to more… extreme meassures, I’m sorry darling… :)
vivien hugo believes everyone's destiny is determined with reason, and yet, he finds himself tampering with fate itself just to see you happy.
a/n: squint and the pie is basically a bday cake... childhood crush trope idk man
The class is very clearly excited— and that's to nobody's surprise, it is the long awaited Pie Day today after all!
A day to celebrate the Twelfth Night after Christmas, but more importantly, to the young and elated children, it's a means of acquiring the status of royalty for the day!
Hugo's blank gaze filters around the classroom with mild intrigue, before it naturally lands on you beside him once more, a habit he's developed awhile back and not yet grown out of.
For as long as he can remember, you've always been a sight for sore eyes.
Warm and shining as you smile, dressed in bright colours that make it hard for him to look away even if your radiance is blinding to his eyes.
You're as pretty as a flower, he thinks, definitely prettier though. And Hugo is a lot like a butterfly, drawn to your devastating sweetness in a way he can't explain with logic.
Hugo doesn't remember the last time he found anything quite as pretty as you, there's even a part of him that thinks he'll never see such a wonderful sight again, but he's not really against it, not when he's more than happy to have your laughter occupy all of his thoughts.
Which is why, he's caught off guard when he doesn't hear the sweet sound of your mirth, but rather, the noise of your deafening silence.
Hugo watches you for a good moment, your slice of pie is left both half eaten and half forgotten in front of you as you squirm in your seat with restlessness. Your attention is completely stolen away, and curious to see what's got you so bothered, Hugo follows your gaze, quickly noticing the cause of your distraction.
It's the kids around you, namely the three who have found the little trinkets in their slices. One's showing hers off to those around her with a proud grin, another is in the middle of being crowned the king of the day, and the last one has their hand up high, fève in the other as they wave the teacher over to show them their find.
The fourth and final figure is in his slice, a discovery that has still yet to be told to the teachers, for the thought of being crowned the king of the day has never excited him much.
That's all the figures, Hugo notes without blinking, glancing back at you like natural instinct, yourself far more interesting than anything else this world had to offer.
The act of finding the little trinkets has always believed to be luck or fortune, though Hugo thinks it's the work fate that decides the results. And fate, is something that is never meant to be altered under any circumstances.
But…
But after seeing your painfully gutting expression — lips wobbling and eyes glazing with unleashed tears, the hope in your eyes slowly fading away, only to be replaced with envy as you tried to collect your shaky breath of disappointment — he finds himself doing something he's never done before.
Vivien Hugo goes against his principles.
The act is inconceivable, he can't believe he's doing something like this, but he has to!
You were about to cry!
And the mere thought of it has his stomach lurch, urging him into motion.
He's reaching out for the little figure in his plate before he can think, and discretely, without alerting you, he's placing it onto your plate.
It's yours now, he thinks after a quiet moment, breath caught in his throat as he replays what he's done. He's changed fate— tampered with it! Hugo has gone against his ideology, something he believes in like the gospel, because it is his faith, it is his religion.
Yet, despite its absoluteness, look at what he has done! The boy has done something so terribly wrong! And he's done it all for you— hoping, praying, that you wouldn't cry.
"M-Miss, sniff, I, I found it…!"
The turmoil that is his thoughts come to a sudden pause when he hears you speak. Your voice is soft, it rings like a sweet lullaby, a noise that has bewitched the boy entirely, his soul and his body.
"That's the last one!" The teacher cheers, a paper crown in her hand as she approaches you.
Hugo's gaze is drawn to you once more, and he watches you from the corner of his eyes, his body frozen still as you bop your head, the tufts of your hair bouncing along.
Your earlier sadness is now nowhere to be found, and relief is quick to bloom within him. At least you no longer look you're about to cry. But the relief is short lived, for what you do next knocks the wind out of him.
You hold the little trinket delicately in your hands, bringing it closer towards you to place a gentle kiss on it — an act of reverence he never would have thought he'd receive form you.
Heat is quick to blossom against his pale cheeks, his eyes growing wide with disbelief as you let out a small titter, one he will most likely play in his mind whenever he has nightmares in the future— because there is nothing quite as pure and comforting as that sound.
The crown is crooked on your head, but it suits you perfectly. And your smile is even more crooked, but it charms him nevertheless. For your happiness is incandescent like that of the sun's, the kind of warmth he's enamoured by.
Hugo can't stop staring at you, he doesn't even blink, fearing that he will miss even a small moment of your radiant beauty otherwise.
"Vivi!
You sing like a hymn as you address him, and he's positive that there are flowers blooming around you when you proudly hold the figure with careful hands. "You have to listen to everything I say now, hehe!"
"Uh, yeah…" He responds to you like a man possessed, guiding your hand with upmost devotion to his pursed lips so he can place a gentle kiss on it. "Yes, your majesty."
You don't even need to be royalty, he thinks, and still, a thousand times over, he will do whatever it is you wish.
Even if it is at the cost of tampering with fate, Hugo has come to the terrifying realisation that he will do it all just to see you smile.

context: meeting Loki unexpectedly after a race
you sat on the bench, the fabric of your clothing sucking in the dampness of the wood, taking short huffs as your legs felt like a sponge that's drowned in water
"Tired?" a voice snapped you away from your thoughts
"Yeah, and you are?" scooting yourself an inch away from him
"You don't know?" a slow knowing smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, his voice dripping with amusement
"you're literally meeting the god of speed himself," he pauses "and you greet me with, 'you are?'" he chuckles, the one filled with absolute warmth , clearly not taking you seriously
you scoffed with a smirk in return, rolling your eyes "It's probably because I don't know you yet"
"Then you probably live under a rock" he countered smoothly, "no offense," this interaction is clearly making him entertained, and what's more is that your speed is luring him in slowly
"None taken, you race?"
"mm, no," he chuckles, gazing at you again in disbelief "you don't really know?"
"No , idiot." nudging his arm with a brief warm laugh "I don't watch football"
a half snicker , and a half laugh bursts from his chest "I never told you I was a footballer"
"okay, maybe I watched some matches where they briefly showed your face, but that's it" you countered, the embarrassment getting to you "I don't even know your name."
"It's on the back of my jersey, chérie."

Vivien Hugo was a scheming little bastard; a sick fuck who got anything he wanted from you through underhanded means.
And right now, well, right now he wanted you to spit in his mouth.
He could care less if it was dirty or crude like everyone whined about it being, he just wanted you to spit in his mouth, sticky and wet and rough— Hugo wanted it bad.
Like reaaally bad.
Which was why, he'd been hunched over his desk with his infamous 'self-reading' book, concocting the most heinous and morally reprehensible plan known to man — one that certainly would put the devil's wits to shame with its wickedness — and all this meticulous and diligent effort just because he wanted you to slob all over him.
Of course, it went without having to say that you, cute and oblivious, would be none the wiser to his beguiled intentions.
And that was perfect.
It was just so perfect that you were the sweet soul you were, with the gentlest and most compassionate heart to boot, because that just meant he could easily achieve his goal.
Fuck, Hugo knew it was cruel to take advantage of your selfless kindness. But God— he was a man, every man had to take care of his selfish desires once in a while, right?
There was nothing inherently wrong with somebody fulfilling their sexual fantasies, right?
"Vivien…" Your voice stretched painfully, thin with feeble urgency. "Would you please, at the very least, look my way?"
You've been at this for a long while now, trying to catch his otherwise easily obtainable attention. Though, unfortunately, your great efforts to give him his evening dose of medication has been futile— in complete and utter vain.
"Please…?"
Alas, even when you begged so desperately and ardently for his regard, tone trembling with defeat and heartbreak, Hugo seemed adamant on refusing to meet your gaze, his back turned to you as he lay on your shared bed in deep need of 'rest' to improve his feverish health.
"My love..? Sweet angel?" You called out sweetly, hope hanging on by a thin thread as you tried to peek over his shoulder to get a sight of his concealed expression. "Vivi..?"
But again, he merely returned your concern with deafening silence, a noise that had your stomach lurch in itself.
"Have I…" Your hand hovered unsurely over him, before landing softly on his arm with the weight of a feather. "Have I done something to hurt you…?"
Oh, if only you knew the effect your words had on him right now.
It took every fucking cell in his body not to fold under your calls, and it took an even greater amount of self control to physically hold himself back from pulling you into his proximity. You were just so fucking adorable, weren't you? Trying to manipulate him with your sweet little words.
But Hugo needed to remain steadfast on his goal, there were greater benefits he could reap if he just remained patient and focused—
"If you don't drink the medicine, you— you're going to be even more ill, y'know?!"
And look at you now, trying to take charge despite the worried tremble in your voice. Once he got to you spit in his mouth, Hugo promised to return the favour tenfold.
"Don't want it…" He rasped, voice dry from having forced himself to scream earlier in the day so he could appear ill in front of you.
See, the thing with Hugo was that he was always thorough whenever he wanted something. It was a bad habit he had, because what fool intentionally let themselves be drenched in the rain to catch a fever just so they could be pampered with the warmth of their lover?
Only down-bad Mr. Hugo apparently.
"Why?" Despite your praise-worthy patience, your frustrations were beginning to bleed through your countenance.
And whilst other men would've seen this as a bothersome trait for their lover to have, Hugo could only clench his toes with unbridled excitement for what was to come.
"Cuz it tastes baaaad." He whined monotonously, making sure to drawl out each word like Charles did to Loki whenever he wanted to get out of training. It always ended with the former getting his ass handed to him by the latter, and smitten old Hugo wanted exactly that from you.
"Because it tastes bad?" Your eye twitched, clearly unamused with his petulant antics. "Vivien, stop being childish and just drink it already. Here."
"Nope." He made sure to pop the 'p' whilst refusing you with a boyish head-shake.
"Vivien." You called, voice clipped with poorly concealed irritation.
"Did you not hear me?" He retorted with sass, not particularly looking for an answer from you but rather a reaction. "I said I didn't want it."
"Please don't make this harder than it needs to be—"
"Don't. Want. It." He cut you off, enunciating each word with jarring impertinence.
Any moment now, and you were sure to lose it.
"…."
Silence ensued following his snarky comment, and Hugo wondered if he dug deep enough with his childish behaviour. But with the way you remained unmoving behind him, the weight of your hand on his arm faint in its presence, maybe that wasn't the case..?
"Vivien." You spat coldly, his name falling out of your mouth with veiled threat.
The sound was almost music to his ears, sending a kaleidoscopes of butterflies to his stomach and spiking his adrenaline into a frenzy of anticipation.
You spared no further moment, roughly grabbing his arm to pull him towards you and onto his back. He let out a noise of surprise from the sudden movement, but other than that, remained pathetically pliant as you threw a leg over his torso to trap him in place.
Then, with aggression you never knew existed within you, you forced his arms down onto the mattress and out of the way whilst the other hand held a spoon with the godforsaken medicine he refused to consume. You tried to nudge the spoon towards his mouth, but much to your dismay, he bit his lips shut to prevent you from succeeding.
"Open your fucking mouth."
Hugo damn nearly came in his pants from your sudden assertion, your furrowed expression not helping his growing situation.
"Tch—" you tutted under your breath, irate clawing up your throat when he remained unaffected with your imperative. "I said, open."
Bringing the spoon to your mouth, you quickly pouched a spoonful of the bitter medicine, before throwing the utensil across the room to God-knows-where. Not that you cared— not when you were too busy using your free hand to squeeze his cheeks together and forcibly pry his tight-lipped mouth open.
If he wouldn't consume the medicine like a normal person would, then you simply had no choice but to administer the panacea through unorthodox means.
And clearly, he wasn't against the idea, seeing as how he eagerly lifted his head up to meet your lips halfway.
You were mildly surprised with his abrupt compliance, but ultimately chose not to dwell on the thought for too long. Feeding him the medicine — forcibly and through mouth to mouth contact — took precedence over anything else.
Shutting your eyes close, you pushed the liquid you'd been pouching into his mouth, an action only possible with the way he hallowed his cheeks and very greedily welcomed the invasion of your tongue.
Finally, you got him to take the fucking medicine.
But before you could even revel in the joy of your success, Hugo's arm, now free from the confines of your hand, snaked around your waist and pulled you back into his proximity, a preventative measure prohibiting you from escape.
His hand wandered with intrigue over the arch of your waist, teasing the hemline of your shorts and lingering on the swell of your ass, before it quickly fell victim to innate desire and grabbed a handful of it. The action pulled a muffled yelp out of you, one that was happily swallowed by the man beneath you who groped at the flesh of your ass with fervour.
Hugo sucked on your tongue, ardent and desperate, his lust-glazed eyes growing half-lidded and hazy with twisted pleasure as he took in your contorting expression.
"Vivi, wait-! ngh—!"
You tried pull away, but Hugo chased after your retreating figure like a man possessed. And he was— Hugo could admit, without any shame or embarrassment, that he was hopelessly infatuated with you.
Ears flushing a pretty shade of red comparable to his hair, his hand wandered again, this time going beneath your shirt and tracing the dip of your spine whilst the other clamped around your neck to push you further down onto him.
You would've thought he was trying to fuse the two of you together, and maybe he was with how he was unwilling to detach himself from your lips.
"Mhm—!"
Whilst he would've loved to hear every bit of what your pleasure-induced self had to say, Hugo couldn't afford it this time. He didn't want you off of him, not under any circumstance. Even if it meant having to regrettably sacrifice hearing every one of your cute little mewls.
He shoved his tongue down your wet cavern, and with it, came the bitter taste of medicine. It was then, at that exact moment, that you realised what he was trying doing. He'd been pouching the medicine himself, and now, was quite literally returning to you what you were previously trying to shove down his throat!
The realisation filled you with vigour, urging your hands to push against his shoulders, an attempt to create some much needed distance between the two of you. Like he'd done before, Hugo tried to pursue your fleeing figure again, his teeth softly grazing your bottom lip with reverence, a desperate plea for more, but you pulled back with a furious expression.
A thin strand of saliva lewdly connected the both of you as you landed heavily on his crotch that was now housing a very grown problem.
"Hah…" He let out a soft whimper from the jolt of pleasure the sudden force of your weight sent across his navel, his lashes fluttering shut as heat grew like fire between his legs.
You didn't let the opportunity go to waste, not when he finally had his mouth opened for you, tongue sticking out like this had been his plan from the very beginning.
And it was.
One glance at his kiss drunken eyes and you could practically read his thoughts aloud.
Spit in my mouth. Spit in my mouth, Spit in it, please. Please, spit in my mouth.
What sort of doctor would you be, refusing your patient's most ardent wishes?
A bad one.
Gathering your spit in your mouth, you grabbed his chin and angled his head towards you, paying no mind to his breathless state as you spat out the wad of medicine onto his awaiting tongue, the mixture diluted with both of your saliva— probably containing no more beneficial components now that it had been contaminated with human spit.
"Twuh!"
And you watched, a pit of delight growing within you as his face contorted with pleasure. A soft noise of bliss leaving him in tandem as he quickly swallowed the sticky mess you'd both created.
"Now I'm going to be ill because of you." You huffed, no real bite to your complaint as you brought the back of your hand to wipe your mouth clean.
"I'll just… feed you the medicine…" He let out a shaky breath, dick aching for release beneath your heat.
There was also a reason why Hugo bought this specific brand of medicine rather than the less bitter ones, so that it could only be given through special means.
"You sick fuck…"
And what of it?
Hugo always got what he wanted in the end, he was a sick bastard after all.

a/n : bro i love the like being drunk troupe sm like its so yummy. ALSO THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WRITING AN ACTUAL FICT INSTEAD OF AN SMAU SO I HOPE ITS NOT THAT BUNS OKAY ...
its been precisely 6 months since you've guys had broken up. 6 months and still no communication from you at all. i mean what did he expect? for you to suddenly come back running into his arms?
hugo is delusional. and he still believes that being with you is destiny. so he patiently waits everyday for you to come back. to text him again once more, which is why he precisely remembers its been 6 months, literally half a year since hes spoken to you.
he checks his phone again. the pinned contact on his messaging app was still you, and only you. gosh, he even still had set his emergency contact to you as well !!
hugo is patient.
"i am patient"
"i am patient"
"i am patient"
he keeps repeating to himself when he still sees no message from you. did you have him blocked? he was too afraid to check himself. he sighs, clutching his pillow harder than expected. he has practice in literally 5 minutes.
yet here he was, being a pathetic man who just cant move on from his ex !!
he forces himself up, taking his time to get ready because he just not in the mood for anything. the pit in his stomach grows every second into the day.
after each dragging hour of practice, everyone was finally dismissed. he wasn't playing too well. he wasn't calculating things as precise and they usually should be. his passes were off and his mind was only on you the entire time.
not to mention the 200 extra push ups he had to do for being 20 minutes late to practice.
his body and mind is all spent up and its only 2 PM. the pit in his stomach was still there, heavier than before. he ignores everything and heads to the nearby cafe. maybe eclairs will help as if they're pills or something.
the moment he enters the cafe, something in the air instantly changed. there was a faint lingering scent, something he hadn't smelled in ... the last 6 months.
he instantly looks around, eyes peeled for you. before he could spot you, the cashier spoke first.
"hello! would you like something to order?" she kindly asks him.
"just an eclair and ..." he trails off and his eyes were still scanning the cafe, til he finally spots you alone on a table meant for two people.
".. and a [your favorite desert]." right after this he swears hes gonna walk to that table, talk to you, and leave the cafe with you finally by his side again.
he patiently waits for his deserts to be served. the entire time his was only on you, like he was afraid you'll disappear the moment he looks away.
"your order, mr hugo." the cashier sets the plates down infront of him.
without even a thank you, he takes them and walks as fast as he could to your table. he was about to open his mouth and call out for you when someone beat him to it.
"[name!]"
hugo turns to the direction where the sound came from. it was another guy. who the hell is that?
he swears he doesn't care and that he'll talk to you no matter what. but the way he completely stops in his tracks really contradicts himself.
"oh there you are! i've been waiting for you!!" you smile to him as you stood up from your seat, approaching the mysterious guy on your own.
"uhh should we go somewhere else?" the person looks down at you and smiles softly.
"sure!"
"alright then, lets go."
on your last step at the cafe, your briefly turn back to see if you've forgotten anything. instead you were met with the familiar eyes of your ex, hugo.
he hasn't moved a step. the two plates were still on his hands. and most importantly, his eyes never left yours. even when yours started to rip away from his as you finally left the cafe with the other person by your side.
his expression was still as cold and neutral as ever. the same expression he had at anytime, anywhere. however, no matter how hard he tries to hide what he feels on the inside, those eyes never lie.
only you could tell. he knows that.
"alright, i think we're done!" you say as your stretched your arms up from all the soreness you felt from sitting on the same chair at the library for around 4 hours straight ...
"yeah. it was nice working with you. hopefully we get a good grade from this project." the same guy from before says as he closes his laptop, packing up things
you do the same and thanked him for todays work before leaving the library on your own to finally go home. sooo, the guy from before was just your partner for a group project !!
you were just about to wait for the bus when suddenly the phone in your pocket rings ...
a call from hugo ..? that reminds you of seeing him earlier on today at the cafe.
but the call was certainly unexpected due to the no contact you two have faced for 6 months despite breaking up on good terms.
you pick up anyway, not really knowing what to expect.
"uhh hello? this is [name] speaking."
"hello! do you know anyone with maroon hair and long very long eyelashes?" the person speaking definitely wasn't hugo. but maroon hair and long lashes? yes. definitely hugo
"oh, uhm yes i do. why? did something happen?" you couldn't help but grow a little worried.
"hes drunk right now, really bad. i think hes knocked out too. i checked his phone and saw you were his emergency contact. do you mind picking him up?"
you were still his emergency contact ..? you couldn't tell if that was intentional or maybe he just forgot to change it ...
"ahh .. i see. okay sure then."
"thats great, thank you! the address is [XXXX]."
"okay! thanks for letting me know, ill be there soon." you hung up and started to make your way to the adress that was given to you.
to none of your surprise, it was just a little street bar. you could see hugo sitting on one of the stools, head squished down to his arms on the table. you could also see 4 empty bottles of alchohol ...
you sighed, this man was seriously even bigger than you remembered. how were you gonna take him home when he was almost twice the size of you !?
you sat down on the stool beside him and poked on his head.
"hugo ..? wake up, we should go home now."
"shuuuuuuuuuuuut up." hugo slurs out, tilting his head to see whoevers bothering him. he stops for a brief second, his eyes were still blurry but .. you looked a lot like ... well ... yourself?
"hugo, dont make this more difficult please—"
"you look just like [name]." he softly mutters out.
"uhm .. what?"
he buries his head back to his arms again.
"i missssssssss her soooooooooo muchhhh ... maybe 'm seeing things now."
"hugo ..." you tried to touch his shoulder but he quickly shakes you off.
"please tell me, where is [name]?"
"hugo 'm right here—"
"you're not [name], i only want [name]. [name] is my destiny."
you sighed for what feels like the 10th time already and stood up. with all your strength you pulled on his arm and he stumbles into you, almost crashing you down.
you had to use all your strength to keep him balanced now. hes so flipping heavy !!
you saw a taxi nearby and tried your best to pull him along with you. after pushing him inside the back seat, you got on the car as well.
"where are we off to?" the taxi driver looks behind to face you.
"uhm, give me a second—"
"offf to find [name]. please take me to [name]." hugo slurs, head leaning back to the car seat.
"sorry. ignore him .." you kindly tell the taxi driver.
"hugo, should we go to your apartment or what?"
"are you stupid? i said go to [name]."
"..."
"pleaaaaseeee, or else it's gonna be too late."
what is this guy even talking about? you asked yourself.
"what do you mean too late ...?"
"[name] is with another guy ... have to save her."
"no shes not."
"yes she is. saw it with my own eyes. so pleaseeeeee take me thereeee. or else i'll lose her again. please please please please pleaseeeeeeeee—"
"kind sir, please take us to this adress, thank you!" you showed the taxi driver an adress on your phone and he quickly nods before starting to drive the car.
for the entire ride, you could hear hugos slurred out words like,
"are we going to find [name]?"
"[name] please take me baaaaaaaaaaack."
"[name] where are you."
"[name] this is destinyyyy so why are you fighting it?"
"[name] ..."
you were already tired of hearing all this nonsense so you closed your eyes and just hoped the ride to his apartment would just finish already.
after finally arriving, you dragged hugo out of the car and up the elevator to his apartment room. you still remember how huge it was ...
finally managing to get in front of his room door, you sat hugo down on the floor before searching his keys on his pocket. after finally attaining them, you opened the door and dragged him once more inside.
"[nameeee] where are you ..." he slurs out with closed eyes. hes just accepting faith at this point with no more strength to fight back.
you finally set him down on his comfy bed, tucking him under the covers. you were about to take your leave when he suddenly reaches out for your arm.
"hugo ..?"
"please stay." he mumbles as he pulls you into the bed, this time with stronger force.
you were forcefully pulled to his side on his bed. he wasted absolutely no time wrapping his strong arms around your waist, tucking his head to your neck like it belonged there. it does.
"dearr [name]. im sorry, i promiseeee 'm not cheating on youu with this random person. but i ... neeed this sooooooo baddddddd ..."
you couldn't help but feel bad. maybe hugo was just touch starved due to your absence for half a year. you decide to finally just play along with his nonsense.
"but aren't you and [name] exs?"
"noooooooooooo ... nooooo ... please dont tell me that. 'ts not true." he mumbles down to your neck, eyes still closed.
"what will you do if you wake up to [name] being right here, next to you?"
"gonna be the happiest man on earthhhhh."
you chuckled, "i see."
"mmhmph ... [name] i know its destiny ... and i know you'll come back one day but ..." his brain was close to shutting down at this point.
"but ...?"
"but i just can't wait any longer ..."
he mumbles down before finally dozing off with you in his arms, just like the good old days. the next morning will definitely take him by surprise when he finally sees his dream come true.
