Also, Amazon Mom can go fuck themselves for continuing to send me coupons and âremindersâ about my due date well after Iâve opted out of the program. Thanks for the big fuck you miscarriage reminder.
Finding out two of your friends (in separate relationships) are getting divorced is rough news.
A visit from the goom squad
There's not much to say except I didn't realize how much I needed this book at this exact moment in my life.
Egan, Goon Squad
âAs Bowden took these puns from screen to plate, he documented his progress with a Tumblr blog, The Bobâs Burger Experiment, that soon amassed tens of thousands of followers and even caught the attention of the showâs creator, Loren Bouchard. From there, fan and creator became collaborators, and Bowdenâs recipes will now appear in the showâs official cookbook, The Bobâs Burgers Burger Book: Real Recipes for Joke Burgers, coming out in March.â
(via Bobâs Burgers cookbook contributor Cole Bowden talks about his blog and recipes.)
I am haunting the mail drop hoping my copy of this arrives soon!  And I really want a Human Polenta-Pede Burger now âŠ

One of the minor ironies of the postwar avant-garde is that an artist so resolutely against personal expression and the myth of the inspired genius should become the focus of a cult of personality. But thatâs exactly what happened with John Cage before, and especially after, his death.

I am really, extremely, amazingly excited to announce the release of my new Hello Pronoun stickers! I posted about these on twitter last night, but I can finally talk about them at length a bit more here.Â
The stickers read âHello, address me as:_________, Please use: ________â, allowing you to declare your name of choice and preferred pronouns immediately upon meeting people. These have been my pet project over the last week or two and a lot of thought has gone into their production. The colours were specifically chosen to be nongendered - no pink or baby blue (The Ze/Hir/Hirs looks a bit blue in these pictures but is really solidly teal), They rather specifically do not read âmy name isâ to head off people being dicks about âIs that REALLY your name?â because frankly it doesnât matter if it is or not because itâs what you fucking go by. (Besides which, the concept of a true name is pretty bullshit unless youâre looking into demon summoning) I feel like there are a lot of great potential uses for these! Theyâd be great at school LGBT-club meetings or other large gatherings where youâre likely to meet a lot of new people, like conventions. They can be used right after coming out to help people whoâve known you for a while adapt to your new name/pronouns. If youâre genderfluid, you can use them to declare your preference on any particular day (and Iâm looking into some more permanent buttons thatâd make this much easier). They can even be used to remind that one old friend who can never get your damn pronouns right. Overall, it seems like theseâll be a wonderfully useful thing for folks under the trans* umbrella to have around and Iâm really happy to have made them.
Obviously I couldnât cover every pronoun variation/combination, particularly on the first run of stickers, but I tried to cover my bases on common nongendered/third gender pronouns. Iâm completely open to taking requests for additional stickers, though, and if I get enough requests for a particular pronoun set Iâll be glad to maker a sticker for it.
Iâll have these with me at SacAnime this weekend for 1/$0.50, 5/$2, and 10/$3. Theyâre currently available on my Storenvy at 5/$2Â - Iâll be adding 10/$3 after the con, at the moment I just want to make sure I donât run out as Iâve only printed up 160 of each design.
