The Syldrathi being always a little too animalistic, a little too connected to the divine. They stand so tall, but walk with so much grace it's like they're hardly thinking about it at all, like a predator always ready to pounce. The air physically shifts when they walk into a room, just enough to make you notice. Staring into their eyes almost feels like a trance, never able to look away before they do. Their hair having a slightly iridescent quality. Their ears flicking back and moving in response to noise, emotion, wind. The Warbreed hissing and baring their teeth like a wild animal before battle. Making shrills and animalistic vocal calls to communicate while travelling. Their skin feels like it has a faint current running through it. Their faces don't move, but you feel the time behind their every move. The Galaxy's oldest beings. The Eshvaaren's first children.
The Betraskans always being just a little bit ... odd. From a distance, all you can see is a figure made of salt with massive pinpricks for eyes. Never really knowing where they're looking, no matter how expressive they are. Their neutral stares being unsettling, they're tilting their heads at any new information, like some kind of bat. Being able to camouflage into any kind of sand, dust, brick. The mothers are able to carry far more babies, twins are expected and only children are rare. Being able to see your reflection in their eyes. They're able to see in the dark better than any Terran could, and can see you moving from so far away. Always so close to seeming human, and always just a little too far, like they spent too long underground and brought some of the darkness back up. But their culture is loud and full of dance, community, even though they look like the undead reborn, and they live in the dirt of their polluted planet. Terra's closest allies. Full of life on a planet that tried to kill them.
