“Wine sounds good, and I think you could use a glass as well, mellow you out,” he said, leaning over her to reach past and grab the wine bottle. He looked around for the glasses and poured out two, handing one to her. He hated that she was this upset, it made his heart hurt and very little did that. He just wanted her to be happy and cheerful like always.

Kimmy accepted the glass from Matty and took a big gulp before coughing a little. She patted her chest and looked up at Matty before laughing. She couldn't figure out why she was laughing but she was. She sighed as she walked to her room and placed her glass on the night stand before she flopped face down on her bed. She often wished she could lay in bed forever, never having to face the outside world again. She wanted that now more than ever.

Checking herself in the mirror, brushing her hair out before winding it up behind her head and putting in a hair claw, figuring that would be the easiest thing and she could just let it down and put the thing in her purse if need be. She had no idea what kind of date this was, how she should dress, so she agonized over that for a while, finally giving up and putting on a simple flowing black skirt down to her knees and a sparkly beige top, throwing on a thin black leather jacket and about to put her feet into some heels when she remember she was already taller than Kimmy, she didn’t need to add to it. She pushed her feet into some dark flats and grabbed her purse, stepping out and heading down to the lobby, smiling wide when she saw Kimmy already waiting for her. “Hello, precious,” She was trying to contain her excitement but ended up grinning, leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek.

As Kimmy sat waiting, she bounced her knees up and down, trying to calm herself. All her efforts were in vain. The moment she saw Lalita, her heart began to race and she shot up from her seat. She tried to make her way over at a normal pace without tripping over her feet. Feeling Lalita's lips on her cheek made Kimmy's skin warm as she looked down to blush. " You have the most beautiful smile..." Kimmy said out loud. After she realized her thought's betrayed her, she looked back up at Lalita, positive that she was completely red in the face. "Uh..I mean...hi." she stammered out. Kimmy too another deep breath and licked her lips before smiling." You look, really really pretty." she said before gulping. " Thank you...for coming out with me. We're going to have a lot of fun, I promised." Kimmy reached out for Lalita's hand and held it as she lead her out of the building. She prayed that her date couldn't feel the goosebumps on her arm as they walked. "So just out of curiosity, what do you think I have planned for tonight?" Kimmy asked and she looked over at Lalita.

Matty let go of her shoulders when she nodded, smirking himself at the tickling part. “Damn Morettis. I mean, humility is one thing but never actually believing in yourself…” he shook his head before putting his arms around her, smiling and sitting back against the couch. He had missed this, the easy comfort, the warmth of her against him. “I missed you too, Minnie.” He closed his eyes and tilted his head back against the couch. “That’s true. We are. What do you want to sing?”

Kimmy snickered and squeezed Matty tighter. "I don't know. Something from Spring Awakening or The Sound of Music? Something fun! Oh, we should go to karaoke with Wes sometime! He's really good and he's nice. And we can go sing for Kayla too. You have to see her, she's amazing. She's so beautiful, even more than she was before. Everyone is so grown up now, so much has changed...except you. You always stay just the way I like." Kimmy smiled.

Matt stroked his hand up her back and held her close, nodding as she spoke. “It’s okay honey, I’m right here,” he said, smiling a little as she listened to his heart beat, something done countless times before. He smiled back at her and tilted his head. “Um…I could drink something, if you’re getting yourself something as well.” He leaned in and kissed her cheek.

Kimmy sighed, letting go of Matty and nodding before leading him by hand to the kitchen. She felt less empty with him around. She keep trying to she the horrible thoughts from her head as she opened the fridge and peered inside. " Water, juice? I still have the wine that you brought the other night in here, you can have some of that." she asked as she wiped a stray tear away.

Savvy had woken up to the droning sound of her cell phone alarm going off, wondering why the hell she was actually hauling herself out of bed so early to get ready, but as she recalled what she was doing that afternoon, she perked up rather quickly. She showered and got dressed in dark skinny jeans with a navy blue and gray striped tank top. She left her hair down after straightening it and had a couple bites of an apple for ‘breakfast’ of sorts before she tosed her phone, wallet, and keys into a small purse to take with her to the studio that Kimmy was taking her to. She was pretty excited to be getting the chance to record since she had never actually had the chance to do any kind of studio work, even if it was just recording a demo. Plus hanging out with Kimmy to do it was an added bonus. As she heard the knock at the door, a grin came to her face and she made her way to answer. “Kimsterrr.” She laughed lightly, stepping aside a little, unsure whether she should let the other girl in or they would just be headed right to the studio. “You’re sure your cousin’s cool with this right?” she asked, raising her eyebrows.

When Savvy opened the door, Kimmy tried her best not to gawk and pulled the girl in for a quick hug before stepping back and smiling. " Hi!" she said cheerfully. It was going to be a fun day, Kimmy could already tell. She laughed and took Savvy's hand to pull her out into the hallway. " Yes I'm sure! It's gonna be fun! Kayla let's me use it all the time and everyone there is really nice and helpful! We're gonna have a great time today!" she smiled. She waited for Savvy to lock up, then link her arm though hers and pulled her into the elevator. They rode it to the lobby and headed out to the cab and all the way to the studio. "We're here!" Kimmy exclaimed as she clapped. " I always get so excited when I come to the studio!" Kimmy gestured to the large building ahead of them as she payed the driver and waved as he pulled off. She made her way over to Savvy and put her hand on her back for comfort. " Are you a little nervous?" Kimmy smiled. She was nervous her first time in the studio and thought Savvy might be too. She hugged Savvy close and gave her a reassuring pat before leading her into the building and up to the floor that held Kayla's studio. "Welcome!" she cheered. " Are you ready?"
