How I turned frustration into fascination
If you are expecting some magical truth or get rich quick, grass to grace story, please don't bother to read this. I am writing this to those who spent their lives trying to do the right thing, those who stood fast in their struggle for righteousness.
I have seen people repeatedly doing the same thing in different ways, claiming they have better solutions. It all ends up in the old story. Then you hear something like it’s just trials and errors, we don't really know what may work. I am like, you claimed you have a solution, but now what???
I was recently frustrated with some apps; the main reason (disruptive ads display). Facebook offers free services and serves different ads, I don't even identify some ads until I clicked them cos they are so friendly I think they are real contents. I have the same experience with inspiration quotes app, guess what my action is, uninstall. I don't have issue with ads, but please don't disrupt the value I hope to get by downloading the app. I respect, creativity and believe inventor should be rewarded handsomely. You don't deserve any reward if the value you created the app around is not being served properly to those who download it.
This separates what the greats from the wannabes. The greats go to extreme length to create something cool that touch millions of people. The wannabes just want to do something mediocre and expect to get paid handsomely.
You don't have to do big things. Just solve one problem that matters to you, then you can share it with people that want the solution. Since I am frustrated with disruptive ads, I just created an app that aggregate quotes. I called it GlowQuote. If you don't like something, change it ~ Jim Rohn.
