Heya the troop, I hope you're all doing well!

June is always intense for me, and the extreme heatwave that hit parts of Europe last week didn't help. I feel like a delicious pancake in a boiling pan. Except I smell sweat instead of sugar.

Among the various things I've been working on this month, the biggest was a series of concept art pieces for the game Blanksword. I don't know exactly what I can or can't show you, I haven't asked. But here are some drawings that have already been shared on social media, so I'm sure not to mess things up.

I've also had some time to work on my new comic. I'm really happy about it!! I have other projects in the works, but I'll give you the details later.

Finally, here are my suggestions for the month:

- Are you familiar with Tolkien's Lord of the Rings? It's amazing. The guy spends three volumes describing places, first enchanting valleys and then, at the end, macabre deserts ; and characters who grow increasingly sad despite ultimately winning. The atmosphere is intensely melancholic and incredibly pierced by a love of nature and the injustice of a fate inflicted upon these little people by cruel, superior powers. We never see the villain. I'm captivated by this superb work.

- Just bread with butter. I think it's delicious, what about you?
