As for the rest, it’s been a quiet week. Been playing a lot of Starminer, and loving in.
And I need a new pair of walking shoes. Not like, yesterday, but this pair is definitely heading to the end of being repairable with duck tape and some foam.

Update for the week ending on 05-01-26
Chapters written This Week I wrote 2 chapters for Mind Your Step and for The Engineer’s Family, along with one for Harker, for I’m the Boss, and my side project. With the commission, I am going over sequence 2 to add elements I realized should have been included once I finished it. Chapters edited I edited 2 chapters for Mind Your Step and for The Engineer’s Family, along with one for Harker and for Going Home. Other stuff Monday was Victoria Day, which is a holiday here in Canada. So I took it off. I played Hydroneer in the morning, made my classic Rigatoni for the afternoon, then enjoyed it whole watching movies. I watched Zootopia 2, The Ballerina(in the John Wick world) and Nobody 2. Zootopia and Nobody were fun. Ballerina was okay, until John Wick took over the movie. It’s no that he’s there long, but that once he’s active, it’s clearly his movie. Which speaks to how poorly writen the Ballerina was. My supporters already know this, but I figure the rest of the people no interested in my stuff should have a chance to comment on it. I will be raising the prices of my support Tiers starting on July 1st. Basically it’s a 4$ increase across the board, except for the 5$, which will go up to 10$. Patreon has been recommending for a while now that we all set our lowest tiers at 5$ because we are worth it(instead of because they want to increase how much money moves on the plarform so they can get a larger cut—me, cynical? Never) I’ve held out because I wasn’t doing THAT to the people already supporting me. This week, their reminder that it’s really best for us of our supporters have to pay more came with a note that people already supporting me wouldn’t be affected by the increase. This would only affect new supporters. Oh, so no problem, I hear you say. I had said I wasn’t doing because I didn’t want to do that to the people already supporting me. Yeah, you clearly don’t know me. In the end, I’m not doing it because I expect to get more money. I’m doing it to prove that I’m not worth it—me, cynical? Never. Book 5 of Dungeon Runner is going to go live on Royal Road in about a week, it’s set to start posting on the first week of June. I fully expect 3 people to join my patreon to read ahead of them once that happens, in that month before the price goes up, and then? Nada. No one will be joining. I’ve often joked that I’m cursed to never get more than 150$ a month out of Patreon and I don’t expect a price increase to change that. And that’s basically it. Chapters written This week, Three chapters for Mind Your Step, along with three for The Engineer’s Family, were written. I also wrote one for I’m The Boss, Harker, the commission, and my Isekai personal project. Chapters edited I edited three chapters for Mind Your Step, and The Engineer’s Family, along with one for Harker and one for Going Home. Other stuff It’s been a quiet week. The only item of note is that the Canada census came in, and that it was online this time.(pretty sure that the previous one was still on paper) and filling it proved interesting because the way it is structured required everyone in the household to be present as it was filled since it didn’t allow for people to fill it individually, or to advance to a next section until all questions were answered in the current one. What made this interesting is that one person in the house in on a night schedule, so having everyone up and present at the same time took some doing. It got done, And that was basically it.
