Wow. Seeing this, I was almost persuaded to kill myself. So much passion! It's a shame Macbeth and Lady Macbeth didn't really work out, with her going crazy and all....
Before the final battle, Macbeth began to realize "[his] way of life / [was] fall'n into the sere"like "the yellow leaf" (5.3. 27), withered and about to approach the end of its life cycle. I agree with him, and I think that his time on this earth was just about up. Even Lennox claimed that Scotland needed someone "to dew the sovereign flower and drown the weeds" (5.2. 36-37). So, instead of blooming and growing like "the sovereign flower" should have been, Macbeth was wilting like "the yellow leaf". By only trying to "look like th' innocent / flower" (1.6. 76) and not actually being one, Macbeth could never be the king that Scotland wanted, only "the weeds" that needed to be drowned.
Hells Bells -Â AC/DC
"The bell invites me. / Here it not, Duncan, for it is knell / That summons thee to heaven or to hell." (2.1. 75-77)
I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine
If you're evil you're a friend of mine
See the white light flashing as I split the night
Cause if good's on the left then I'm sticking to the right
I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's puttin' up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get ya, Satan get ya
A show of hands of all who are tired of the current Scotland and grieve for the old days ?Â
OH SO NOW YOU WANT ME BACK HUH? DIDN'T REALLY SEEM LIKE YOU MISSED ME WHILE YOU WERE TRYING TO CLEAN MY BLOOD OFF OF YOUR HANDS
Squad and I looking down at the Macbeth couple in Hell while we’re up in Heaven. #currentlyÂ
I just assumed everyone went to Heaven
Get me out of here!!!!!! I want to go back to my Macbethy!!!!! Help Help!!!!! My eyes are burning!! “Ring the alarum bell!” (5.5.58) Get me out!!!!!
Being dead sure does leave lots of time to work on your dance moves! I call this one the “yay Scotland finally has a rightful king” dance!! Let me know what you think of it
OMG you need to teach it to me the next time we see each other!!!!
Finally! This war is over, and Scotland can now be in peace after all of this “violent sorrow” (4.3.194). But, it’s a shame that there had to be so many deaths. My heart goes out especially to Lord Siward and his family for their loss. Although he died young, Young Siward “has paid a soldier’s…
Thank you, your praise truly means a lot! I only wish for a better Scotland, and I am sure that “[your] old robes [shall] sit easier” (2.4.53) on Malcolm than how it “[hung] loose about [Macbeth], like a giant’s robe / Upon a dwarfish thief” (5.2.25-26).Â
Well, I doubt that. I do admit to being a little bit overweight.... It was a secret, but many times I had to get my robes altered.
But for me it was aN ACTUAL BLADE
This is so strange.  There was an eclipse, Duncan’s horses ate each other- what could possibly be happening? If there was any evidence of the dead coming back to haunt us, then I think it’s now. What next- someone sees ghosts?
What's so bad about ghosts huh? I'm offended.
**Dies dramatically**
I just CAN’T live this life any longer.Â
"Naught’s had, all’s spent,
Where our desire is got without content.
'Tis safer to be that which we destroy
Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy.” (3.2.6-9)
See you later earthly troubles. Many wonder where I’m going and my response can only be, “ON”.Â
"The raven himself is hoarse / That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan"Â (1.5. 45-46)
The Tyrant Is Dead, Long Live The King!
Finally! This war is over, and Scotland can now be in peace after all of this "violent sorrow" (4.3.194). But, it's a shame that there had to be so many deaths. My heart goes out especially to Lord Siward and his family for their loss. Although he died young, Young Siward "has paid a soldier's debt" (5.8.44) and is now here with me in the afterlife.
Let us also remember the life of the person who's responsible for all of the "sighs and groans and shrieks that rent[ed] the air" (4.3. 193) during his "fruitless" (3.1. 66) and "barren" (3.1. 67) reign. I so wanted Macbeth to give up this "thriftless ambition" (2.4. 40) and realize that nothing good would ever emerge, but I see now that my efforts to reach out to him were in vain. I just hope that the tyrant is able to rest in "curtained sleep" (2.1. 63) now that "nothing / Can touch him further" (3.2. 28-29).
We should also commend macduffstuff for his bravery and thelittleprincemalc for his leadership. My son, I hope you know that I am so proud of you. Even though Macbeth's rule has left Scotland in shambles, I know that as king, you will be able to pick up the pieces and build a new and better Scotland. I'm so glad that you are "compassed with thy kingdom's pearl" (5.8. 67) and that you are happy. Congratulations, and I will be there at your coronation in Scone!
R.I.P. Macbeth
Well blackdesirez, you got what you wanted, right? You said it yourself, "better be with the dead, / Whom we, to gain our peace, have sent to peace, / Than on the torture of the mind to lie / In restless ecstasy" (3.2. 22-25). "After life's fitful fever", I hope you too "sleep well" (3.2. 26)....
#TBT When Macbeth killed Duncan and I became QUEEN!!!!
Throwback to when I arrived at Macbeth's castle and everything was dandy
