After all of the news last night and this morning on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Square Enix North America has opened up pre-orders for the upcoming titles on their Online Store for $59.99. While no other retailers have listed the game yet, it will be made available for pre-order very soon.

Slated for a 2016 release, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue contains Kingdom Hearts HD [Dream Drop Distance], Kingdom Hearts X[chi] Back Cover which serves as a full HD movie that expands on the history of the mysterious Foretellers, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage – which follows right after Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] and follows Aqua’s journey in the Realm of Darkness. This collection serves as the best starting point for Kingdom Hearts 3’s story, so fan won’t want to miss out on picking this game up!

Roy Conli, Producer of Big Hero 6, makes the new world announcement at D23 Expo.

Food for thought: Roy commented in the Tangled reveal video that the worlds would be a part of a “series”. There’s one more film left that he’s produced that has yet to be included in any game: Treasure Planet.
