Graduate School, day 16
An illustration to aid in subtracting negative numbers (3rd of 3), largely because student error rates in negative arithmetic is much higher than error rates with positive numbers in early college. It was nice to pick up work on this after returning home.
Graduate School, day 2
An illustration of new math multiplication, which appears to decompose operations by order of magnitude, and then constructs area visualization. Obviously impractical for large numbers and tricky for fractions.

Fast sketches of line multiplication, which I’ve read is widely used in Japan. I’ve not seen any definitive evidence of its origin.

I refreshed my understanding of Gantt charts today in preparation for online course production. Also researched Pinterest, webcams, probability, and graphing.
