My honest interpretation of Sparkling Justice is a bittersweet one. Are you ready?
Bear in mind my interpretation might be skewed, but it's my honest takeaway from everything I've learned about the individuals - what little was released to the public.
Ever since I started looking into the case details, it seemed like it was most likely a suicide mission.
It was never about winning the war against crime - they never expected to. They knew they would lose it someday, and they were determined to take out as many criminals as they could before their time was up.
It's pretty fitting that they wear masks, isn't it? I don't just mean for the sake of hiding their identity - but even the motivation behind it all is obscured by the lie they've constructed.
The few interviews they've allowed seemed highly scripted. It wasn't genuine, it... Lacked something. Something important.
The words were fine, I guess... There wasn't anything wrong with them... But something seemed 'off', somehow.
I've seen genuine Sparkling Justice fans that believe the soliloquizing and buy into the story they've prepared...
But this isn't just about punishing criminals. There's something else they aren't saying.

The card I drew for the killer was 'The Final Judgment', by the way - finding out who it was is gonna be extremely tough if that card's accurate for them.
It means 'change of position, renewal, outcome' - which seems to me like it's saying they're basically a different person now. This wasn't the work of some serial killer like our miserable Plushie Fiend or Doll Ghoul - this is someone who doesn't kill anymore.
We still have nothing resolved, either!
The place wasn't always a business - it was a regular house once. It changed hands a bunch of times, and there's no telling when that basement makeover - or the murder - happened!

He got weirdly serious (he does that sometimes but the weird was the fact he had just been cheerful and kind of making light of the situation? which isn't unusual for him)... The thing he got serious about was this specific section:

If I tried to help warn everybody about the fact she was planning a huge headache and that headache was still on the way, without her? It was outta my hands then.

Despite how solitary he normally is? He pretends to be lazy but then he'll do more work than it looks to ensure he isn't unprepared...

Later on he mentioned YOU by name, specifically your luck... He said he wanted to test your luck and see if it would protect YOU... But I think it may have been the other way around - he wanted to see if your luck would protect HIM. Looked to me like he was investing his hope in your luck

My offer:
It has to do with you stealing Kirumi's undies and burying them somewhere in Chiaki's room (so Chiaki would find them and assume Kirumi was initiating a closeness underwear trade)
Part of that is probably the fact that neither one of them would initiate on their own? Kirumi doesn't act on her own volition so Chiaki would *have* to initiate.. But it's pretty easy to assume she wouldn't be thinking about that even being a possibility xD!!!!!!!!! So to ensure that happened (sooner rather than later? Waiting for it to happen eventually) you used your lock picking skills to break into Kirumi's room, steal her undies, broke into Chiaki's room to plant them somewhere Kirumi wouldn't find them (because she wouldn't immediately know they were missing)
That's only a part of it- the larger factor is the fact Nagito is the most pleased with *this* match despite how he had very little to do with it. He said it himself, Chiaki and Kirumi is the match-up he's happiest about even though he had almost nothing to do with them meeting each other or bonding how they did. He wanted to match Chiaki but it was difficult because of her tendency to get distracted by playing games or even spacing out/falling asleep people would get impatient with her? So he *wanted* to match her but it was really hard to find somebody for her.
Soooo... My theory here is that you interfered *because* of how Nagito felt about this match in particular despite how you mostly wouldn't get involved beyond the initial introduction period... Kirumi is not one of your more difficult classmates so it's not like she would have required additional effort? But you still made the additional effort and that was because Nagito cares about that match in particular.
