It's a unique type of frustration when you agree that a character is deeply flawed but other people keep missing what's actually wrong with them and assigning them new flaws that they don't even have it's like free my man he did none of that. He did a bunch of other shit tho.

It probably wasn't the best idea to pester the Sorcerer Supreme with nosy questions. But it was harmless. That was Loki's saving grace these days -- that even at his worst, he didn't mean any harm.

The narrowing of his eyes is minimal, almost imperceptible, as the god speaks. While he doesn’t want to give anything as a reaction, he can never quite help himself when he hears Loki’s voice. A sigh wracked through his form, calm and exhausted all at once. “I don’t believe either category fits.” He admitted with a slight shrug. “Why do you ask?” He wasn’t sure he even wanted to know, but the question escaped before he could stop himself.

He'd been studying Strange with something that felt like academic curiosity but now he looked at his face a little too close. Saw something that surprised him. "Your stripes are fading."

What I love in this scene is Loki's reaction.

I thought that Loki would be impressed by Mobius' rage, or that he would be amused. Or that he would immediately start torturing Brad as soon as Mobius got out of the cell.

But no: Loki was stunned by Mobius' reaction.

So, at first, he took steps to stop Mobius before he went too far and escorted him away safely.

Then he followed Mobius to make sure he was okay, asking him over and over without using aggressive tones, despite Mobius trying to downplay it.

Loki saw that Mobius was trying to hide how shaken he was, so he suggested to eat a slice of pie to reassure him down.

Without pressure, he calmed him down until Mobius was ready to open.

And then he reassured him gently.

This shows how much Loki has changed: instead of being overwhelmed by anger and the desire for revenge, he put the well-being of Mobius, a person dear to him, first, without hiding the concern and affection he feels for him. And Mobius, in return, demonstrated that he placed full trust in Loki, expressing his innermost emotions to him.

I wanted to give him armor reminiscent of his outfit in IW, but note his gold aesthetic has returned. This takes place in an AU where he has embraced his identity as an Odinson, and fights beside Thor to bring down Thanos

ough i started thinking about the inherent tragedy of a spare heir

what if you and your sister had the same tutors, same arms instructor, same conversations with your mother regarding politics and strategies and the million terrible choices a ruler must make. but all of them, from your nursery governess to your fencing coach to your mother herself, knew that she was real and you-- weren't. not yet. only if the unthinkable happened. what if you were a walking reminder that she wasn't invincible. what if you were tragedy's page, carrying its train, walking soft in the shadow of all of their hopes that you would never be needed.

I wanted to experiment a little with the light and took some sketch for it. Well, and the clouds too. Using references gives a lot but I don't always want to. I miss drawing the sky but I don't have any ideas for that for now.
