Finally, the original has crossed my dash.

Some fanart for Nullenvoid's Sonic fanfic, Hop to It! The Y-Nought, built by Humi the Mouse, from bits of scrapped machinery and robots owned by both G.U.N. and Eggman!

Legs: Formed from the manipulator arms of G.U.N. Hunters, the legs of E-1000 badniks, and the fenders of Rhino Metal drones.

Hull: An old motor boat

Front Turret: Beetle head, two ammo crates, a beetle gun replacing the optic, and two E-1000 machine guns bolted to the side.

Engine: One of those water-heater things from Eggman's pyramid base combined with the engine from a car. Humi has painted her own logo over Eggman's face.

Rear Turret: E-1000 torso and head, with an optic from a beetle drone replacing the badnik's right eye, and the main gun from a G.U.N. Bigfoot Mech bolted to the front.

Upgrades:

Badnik Buster: The gun arm of a G.U.N. hunter, mounted among the machine guns at the front. Lets the Y-Nought break iron crates.

Armored Prow: Scrap metal bolted to the front in a more intimidating shape. Expands the mech's health pool and reduces the damage it takes.

Turbines: The engines from a G.U.N. Hawk. Allows the Y-Nought to hover.

Kiki-Mortar: E-1000 arm for the gun tube, Bomb Beetle for the launch mechanism and ammo storage, Kiki head for the targeting computer. Fires explosives that destroy enemies in a wide area.

Laser Blaster: Fully repaired the Bigfoot gun. Draws extra power from the Y-Nought's store of chaos drives for some extra punch.

And notice the potato doesn’t guilt you with “if you don’t, something horrible will happen.” Potato wouldn’t betray you like that, because potato is a refined person of good humor and character, and understands that, sometimes, a visit to your dashboard just isn’t convenient right now. Sometimes you just went on a fandom gif reblogging spree or your energy is low, you do not have the time to make your dashboard suitable to guests, and a polite visit just isn’t in the cards. Potato understands this, and doesn’t get upset, or gods forbid, throws a tantrum and wishes ill on your household. Instead, Potato merely stores away their blessings for a later visit and leaves as a good friend should.

Be like Potato. Be a good friend.

This was originally part of its own post, but I figured I should add it here so all the Bawling/Balling/Bowling family lore can be in one place, sorry if you’ve seen it before.

So 12-foot-tall Grandma was actually a star basketball player back in the 70s for a very brief period of time– her career as a professional athlete only lasted between October and December of 1972.

The reason for this was because John Basketball, the inventor of the sport, realized that the WNBA had not yet been established, so he asked her to please sit out until the Basketball Elders got a chance to make a space in the sport for women. Grandma thought this was pretty bullshit, but she decided to leave the NBA anyway because nobody could keep up with her balling, and the sport had lost its novelty.

After she settled down in her new-but-less-exciting career as an astronaut, she met Pop-pop on the moon. It turns out that he had been a big fan of her and had recorded all her matches on U-matic, and had fallen in love with the sport.

Anyway things happened, the two fell in love and got married, and Grandma and Pop-pop had a beautiful family together. She became especially close with one of her granddaughters, Ballin’ Jessie, who inherited her propensity for basketball. The two would often dunk hoops with each other, and developed trash-talk as their love language.

Pop-pop also had an interest in the sport, but his height had made it difficult for him to keep up with the others. In fact, he had actually lost about a foot in height as a result of being compressed by Earth’s stronger gravitational pull. Despite this, Pop-pop was never really bothered by this because of his exceptional love for Grandma, who was always more than happy to lend him a helping hand.
