DIY Honey Pot (at Kingsburg, California)
It's that time of year, when leaves start falling, pumpkins start appearing, and honey starts crystallizing. If honey starts turning cloudy then thick and sugary, LET IT GO! This is when it really gets good. Stir it into plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt for a delicious contrast of both sweetness and texture. Taste a bit of crystallized honey on a spoon, followed by a sip of unsweetened tea. Enjoy the contrast of sweetness while the honey crystals melt in your mouth. We refer to this as Russian Style honey. (at Kingsburg, California)

The origin of Kingsburg Honey goes back 100 years and half way around the world. My father-in-law Georgiy grew up in this house in the 1930's & 40's Soviet Union. Notice the beehives in the front yard. Georgiy remembered his father hiding the beehives from the Germans during WWII. #kingsburg #kingsburghoney #backyardbees #homesteadinglife
