Getting closer on the shed project. This will be a series of highly detailed videos showing every step from start to finish how to build a shed.
The video shows how to build it to the Uniform Building Code (UBC) specs. This way it will be a job that any Building Department would give a permit for if your county or city requires it.
This one is 10x16 and has 9â high side walls. But we will also make a complete set of plans with a materials list and cut list for several different popular sizes, including; 8x8, 8x10, 10x10, 10x12, 12x12, and 10x16.
There will also be a tutorial showing how to calculate roof pitch & slope, and full instructions on the use of a speed square & rafter square.
Itâs a build that you can do with very little experience and only a circular saw, a drill, a hammer, and a speed square.
Most importantly, this is something you can do thatâs extremely cheap compared to buying one. This project priced out at $7941 at Tuff Shed. It cost less than $2000 in materials! Thatâs 75% less, if you build it yourself. If you are skilled with the tools, itâs a weekend job. If you have no experience itâll still only take 2 weekends of your time.
Itâll also make a GREAT WOODWORKING SHOP!!
