Palak aloo paneer with curried lamb. Vaguely following: http://simpleindianrecipes.com/palakaloo.aspx And: http://www.manjulaskitchen.com/2008/05/24/how-to-make-paneer/
Second attempt at chana masala. I made some changes. I forget. I do what the flip I want. Long story short: I had to eat it from the pan immediately with a spoon because of porn reasons.
I attempted a different recipe for naan than before and it turned out very plain. http://food52.com/recipes/24144-homemade-naan
So, I crafted a pornucopia of hummus to go with: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Hummus-237832
I added a glut of turmeric and coriander for good measure.
Second attempt at the chana masala. Added potatoes this time, because potatoes. Also I have proper turmeric and coriander now and crushed up some cardamom pods as well. I'll be in my bunk rubbing this all over my face.
Look upon my naan ye mighty and despair!
Following this recipe except omitted the egg and used a Tbsp of buttermilk powder instead of the 3Tbsp of milk.
The first rising didn't go so well but the second rising seemed to work it out.

Chana masala roughly following this recipe: http://www.chow.com/recipes/30267-chole-chana-masala/print
Chickpeas needed soaked a bit longer but they should be perfect by tomorrow.
Over basmati rice cooked with Thai chili salt, curry, and fennel seeds.
Z-Day supplies. Whole graaaaaaiiiins to fend off the vegan zombies, and the most darling stainless steel lunchbox-bludgeon evar.
So I decided to teach myself how to bake this weekend and I may have gone slightly mad with power.
First two tests were with this recipe: www.alexandracooks.com/2012/11/07/my-mothers-peasant-bread-the-best-easiest-bread-you-will-ever-make/
I substituted one cup rye flour for one cup all-purpose flour but otherwise ran it by the book. Then devoured it with hard salame we got at Sam's club.
Second attempt was with dill, caraway seed, and madras curry powder which was astonishing but next time needs Yet More curray. No pictures survived as it was eaten too quickly.
Third attempt was following this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/no-knead-beer-bread/
For the beer I used Blue Dawg's Wild Blue blueberry ale, then added in some crushed rose petals and powdered ginger. It sort of overflowed the bowl when rising so it's not very handsome but it is made of floral deliciousness.
The only main change I made was greasing the bowls with coconut oil instead of butter which made the bread that much more tasty and the cottage smell amazing like it cooked.
Blueberry pancakes and Polish kielbasa
Parsnips, potatoes, chorizo, and so much love.
Red cabbage, white gold and purple potatoes, habanero garlic. Sumac, red salt, cayenne. Red wine vinegar, smidge of scotch. Dish.
Today had Hebrew National hot dogs, boiled then fried in a Brisket sauce. Topped with some cabbage (which I spilled half the bag tearing it open, so had to add part of a cabbage, carrot, red cabbage mix to make up for that), chopped onions and collard greens sauteed in a splash of apple cider vinegar (seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper). On whole grain bread with mustard.
Side of corn with a cuboid of the land'o'lakes saute expresse Italian herb butter, with garlic powder and sea salt to taste.
It was far too pornographic for the taste buds! Lots of mouthgasms. NOMS!
On the fifth had homehacked chicken noodle. Baked the chicken thighs, let cool then deboned, set aside. Boil water and add chicken bullion cubes, rosemary, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, celery seed (to taste, remember that the chicken will add more salt and fat/oil when added). Add onions (fresh) and carrots (used canned this time, will used pre-cooked frozen next time). Let boil for a few minutes, then add chicken and noodles, let cook a few more minutes (note: noodles are pre-cooked to al dente and were frozen).
I love chicken noodle soup! <3
My new addiction.
