Tarot Readings

So I am staying with a friend for right now, and I have my cards. I will be starting readings as of tomorrow. In order to receive a tarot reading you must: Donate any amount to my GoFundMe Leave your initials/name in both the reading request and your GoFundMe donation. I am not asking for an arm and a leg. Hell, you could give me a quarter for a reading and even THAT would be appreciated. I need this money in order to quicken the amount of time I can get an apartment and be in a much more stable place in life. Another thing I ask is to leave a review of your reading and any critique you may have. An Update on my Life

So, to recap, I’ve been kicked out (more half kicked out half ran away..) and I’m staying with a friend right now, who is the only person I can stay with and still go to school and work. Said friends girlfriend wants me out as soon as possible. Quite frankly from what it sounded like, she wants me out right now but he won’t let it happen(I think he said he told her to kinda suck it up right now because it couldn’t happen..) So right now I’m just praying that he talks to her and she says she’s okay with me staying until July.

Here’s my problem friends;

I don’t have really any money to get an apartment right now. I also don’t have a license or a car. I am working, yes. But I’m just not bringing in enough to where I could move out, and it doesn’t help that my other friend that I’m getting an apartment with does not make much either.

I am paying rent to my friends mother, so that’s 100 out of the month that I will not have to go towards moving out. I will say, however, my managers have been great at giving me hours lately, so as long as I don’t call off for things I’m making an okay amount, but it really doesn’t look like enough for July.

Anyways, ramble cut short, I’m thinking about selling my Tarot readings once I get them back. I don’t have a set amount for them, more rather, it will be a pay what you want basis. Once this starts, I will put my GoFundMe link in my blog description, and payments will go there. I for see myself getting my cards back by the end of this week, it’s just a matter of my other friend hanging out with me. I will be doing these readings on the days I come in early to work (because coffee shops are fun to be at) and when I decide to stay after. Other than things like that, I can not promise an immediate response, so being off anon will probably help you out in the long run.

The only thing I ask other than the amount that is paid is a short review, leave your initials(Because I believe you can do that too on GoFundMe.. I don’t knwo no one has donated yet) and maybe a share. 

I would also like to note that I would not normally make my tarot readings a paid for service, however, I’m in a situation where I have no other real options to take. Once I have enough for the apartment, and we can move in my readings will be free again.

I hope that everyone understands and I appreciate that and any business I might get in the future.

"I love my body" So I tried out a new way to make a sigil.. I made this because I truly need help loving my body. I plan on try to make a necklace with this. Til then I might put this on my left wrist. Pink and purple revolve around self esteem so maybe do the heart on pink and the inside in purple. Or whatever you'd like. :) If anyone tries this out, could you give me feedback? I just wanna see see if it works for other people.. I hope it does!

How to make your own natural herbal infused oil in a few easy steps. Make your own oils from scratch. Once made, these oils are suitable for a range of uses, they can be burned in a candle oil burner to add fragrance to the air, excellent to use at your altar instead of incense, use it to anoint candles for candle magic, add to baths for spell work purification and for silky and heavenly soaks, make it into perfume, use for a variety of skin conditions, use it as massage oil or even just a delicious cooking oil or salad dressing. See below for instructions. Use, olive, almond, sunflower or coconut oil work best. 1. Find a large, clear, clean glass jar or bottle with a tight lid. 2. Pack fresh, clean, whole herbs loosely into the jar, use any herbs you like or a mixture, you can experiment with smells and tastes or if you need a specific one for a spell or potion only use that. 3. Cover the herbs with oil. High quality olive oil is best, but any good quality vegetable oil will work. 4. Put the lid on as tightly as you can, and set the jar on a sunny windowsill - this is best done in the summertime, but can be done in winter if you have a window that gets maximum amount of light, even in winter. 5. Leave the jar on the windowsill for 30 days, shaking it gently once a day. 6. Find another large, clear, clean glass jar or bottle with a tight lid, a large funnel, and some cheesecloth. Pack the cheesecloth fairly tightly in the funnel. Set the funnel in the empty jar, and wrap some cheese cloth around where the mouth of the jar meets the funnel, to prevent spillage. You can also use a fine sieve but it won’t work as good. 7. Slowly pour the oil into the clean jar through the funnel. The cheesecloth will strain the herbs, letting the oil filter into the jar. Experiment with mixes. Fill the jar with a mix of chamomile, vanilla and lavender to ensure pleasant sleep. Mix vanilla and cinnamon to fill your kitchen with cooking scents. This does not make essential oil. Essential oils are the herbs compressed to make oil. This makes diluted oil. There is no need to further dilute this oil. Lavender is soothing, cinnamon invigorating, mint fresh. White willow bark has a spicy smell, sage is used by Native Americans for cleansing, chamomile is used to soothe and help sleep. Do some research about your favorite scents, and see what you can find. In the Autumn try using rosemary which also has astringent and healing properties as well. In the summer pick or purchase mint to make a refreshing oil White willow bark (or any kind of bark or nuts or roots) may need to be soaked in water first, left in the oil longer, and/or used as freshly as possible. Some herbs can be used dried, like cinnamon, but for the most part, dried herbs lose their essential oils, so best to use fresh. Store oil in a cool, dark place, and smell it occasionally. If it smells rancid, don’t use it.

Harry Potter Inspired: Magical Curriculum

Hello everyone! It’s been AGES since I’ve posted a Harry Potter inspired post. This isn’t really so much a spell or anything “serious”, but I thought it might be fun to equate the Hogwarts magical curriculum with magic that can be studied in the real world. This curriculum probably isn’t very practical to follow exactly, but it might be a fun guide for the beginning witch to help guide you in your magical learnings. Perhaps the “years” can be condensed into shorter time periods (like months, for example?) to help make the curriculum a bit more practical. Regardless, I hope you enjoy!

First-Second Years:

First years are sorted into one of the four houses (you can find plenty of quizzes online to help find out which house you belong in). Use this masterpost to learn more about your house and how it can relate to your real-world magical practice.

Required core classes:

Charms– Basics of spellwork, casting etc.

Potions– Basic kitchen witchcraft

History of magic– Study of the history of witchcraft throughout different cultures, time periods etc.

Defense against the Dark Arts– Basics of magical protection, cleansing etc.

Astronomy– Basics of astrology, planetary witchcraft (aka space witchcraft)

Herbology– Basic green witchcraft and herbalism

Flying– Basics of astral travel, not necessarily performing astral travel at this level yet. Optional for second year.

Transfiguration– Basic energy work & manipulation

Third-Fourth Years:

Each of the above core subjects should be continued at more advanced levels (flying is optional).

Students must choose a minimum of two of the following elective courses:

Arithmancy– Numerology for divination purposes, sacred geometry

Divination– Tarot reading, tea leaf reading, scrying, and other means of divination

Care and Keeping of Magical Creatures– Study of magical creatures, spirit work, fairy craft etc.

Study of Ancient Runes– Use of runes for divination and magical purposes

Muggle Studies– Use of witchcraft in everyday modern life

Fifth Year:

Classes are continued as in the 3rd and 4th years.

Magical skills and interests are assessed. Courses for the next year are determined based on these skills and interests. Courses may be specialized to fit the student’s needs and skill levels.

Sixth Year:

Certain core classes may be dropped at this time to make way for the classes that are of the student’s interests and skill-levels.

Optional: Apparition– Remote viewing, visualization skills etc.

Optional: Alchemy– Elemental magic studies

Seventh Year:

Classes continue on normally from the sixth year. Apparition will not be offered, but alchemy will still be available.

Extracurricular Activities:

Available all years. Can be used to help students explore their own personal interests.

Ancient Studies– Similar to History of Magic with an emphasis on ancient magical practices

Art– Sigil design and usage

Frog Choir, Music, Orchestra– Incorporating music and songs into witchcraft

Ghoul Studies– Spirit work

Magical Theory– Philosophical and theoretical approaches to different types of magic and how they work (see these posts for some examples)s

Xylomancy– Obscure, overlooked, and uncommon forms of divination
