5x20 / 2x06

I know that we’ve only seen this 30 sec promo, but I already found a big resemblance between the next episode to “Tallahassee”.

First of all, both of them are young Emma flashbacks (and the one Jen was playing), but most importantly the present time would be Emma and Hook going on an adventure together that will reveal lots of emotional stuff for the both of them, and I suspect mostly for her (just like in 2x06).

This time true love is the center of this quest, while on “Tallahassee” it was a side thing for Emma to deal with, which she really couldn’t. Back then all her emotions went above the surface to only be ignored and pushed over her wall when she left him there. Here, she would have to face her incapability to leave him behind, in what seems to be a very ironic anti parallel.
