Chapter 1

Prologue

The Octobot King jerks backwards as dozens, no, a wall of bombs gets thrown onto the battlefield by DJ Octavio. 

Callie continues her singing on top, and Agent 4 is too mesmerized to focus. The song seeped into her brain, keeping her rooted to her place with a feeling of fuzziness engulfing her entire body. 

A Charger pot shot by Marie snaps Agent 4 back to her senses. She scans the battlefield and finds she is surrounded by huge bombs, and her mouth opens in a silent scream.

Agent 4 jumps out of her ink a second too late. The bomb closest to her explodes, sending ink everywhere, especially catching her on her back.

Agent 4 suddenly felt herself flying backwards. Her body screamed in pain as she flew through the air, her tentacles whipping around her. Her eyes closed in silent pain. 

Her back fell on something hard and it forced the air out of her body with a huge gasp from her. Her eyes refused to open and her lungs worked overtime for air, her mouth open and just sucking in air.

Nothing in her body worked. Her ears were ringing, and she could vaguely make out sounds. Her fingers twitched but didn’t move further, as did her toes but that didn’t help much. 

Agent 4 groaned and coughed out blood, her hands clutching at various spots off her torso. Her fingers felt hot ink here, there and everywhere which made sense as her entire body throbbed painfully. But she felt her body, and with that, noticed that she wasn’t dead with a low groan, as her eyebrows pinched together.
