You know what I find hilarious

That we have mani an NPC that is the textbook definition of a parasocial fan he’s trying to one up everyone in the Canari quiz wizz he even looks like your average discord user and you get the sense that he is a super fan as in “ I know Canari better than all of you fakers”

BUT SOMEHOW

NAVEEN is the one that’s seen as parasocial. Naveen is the one that’s called a Simp he’s the creepy one apparently he’s the tier 3 sub the creepy stalker the guy that’s not even a part of the fan club the guy that actually respects Canaris space… what a psycho stalker am I right?

It also comes off a little racist and ableist but I don’t think any of you are ready for that conversation yet

If you actually believe that Naveen is any of those things then we cannot be friends sorry

I’m so glad no one’s ever made those overly crude parodies yet because I can smell Naveen getting mischaracterized from A MILE AWAY I even saw a video on TikTok joking about how Naveen “ does things” to his canari plush and it totally ruined my entire day 

Because not only is that gross and extremely unfunny team mz are very likely to be teenagers characters like az and other NPC’s refer to you the player and the other members as “kid” or in az’s case “children”

Vinnie also refers to you and Urbain/taunie “ young trainers”

And I’m supposed to believe they’re adults apparently?

So those kind of jokes about a character that’s implied to be a minor is just SO weird in short leave Naveen alone HES DOING HIS BEST OK

My new favorite head cannon that I have is that green secretly has a southern accent they’re hiding from the other crewmates because they don’t want to get made fun of but when the parasite takes over their body, something weird happens

They got so good at hiding their accent that the The alien inside their body had no idea they even had one

I don't hate any of these characters btw, basically every character was very fun and compelling in their own right, I just cared for some characters more than others lol

(except the characters in D tier. Jett was just such a nothingburger character and I personally believe Vinnie should've taken oven the company. There's nothing wrong with Tarragon tho I just find him annoying.)

Taunie is not ranked on here because I had Urbain, but she would be the same rank as Urbain. I love her design sm :3

THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING I like to think I’m pretty cool when it comes to people not liking my favorite characters I get it. They might not be for everyone but I can’t say the same about Naveen people that call him a simp for Canari are so wrong it hurts Also, I saw someone imply that he “did things” to his canari plush or jokes about him being a Gooner like miss characterization is something you just have to deal with when it comes to fandoms because you can’t really do anything about it, but with this one, I’m actually upset it’s really gross and very out of character for him he literally goes out of his way to respect Canaris space he’s not even a part of the DYN4MO fan club there’s this itty-bitty side quest in the mega dimensions DLC called “hyperspatial scuffle vs DYN4MO” well you have to double battle against Canari and tarragon with Naveen AND NAVEEN IS THE ONE THAT CHALLENGES CANARI he’s literally the furthest thing from a parasocial fan 

I feel like if the roles were reversed and Naveen was the popular streamer and Canari was the super fan or literally any other character was a fan of Canari for example Urbain/taunie or Lida No one would say a word but you guys aren’t ready for that conversation yet

Gwynn might as well be in love with Canari but again no body say anything about that

Also people hating him because of the hat he gives you are so dramatic like just take it off

And yes he is possibly the most autistic coded pokemon character ever and I love him for it like me too bro
