i would like to very quickly appreciate the full circle ending of sk8. like, langa and reki both have the nearly the exact same movements, and the conversation sounded like something personal to reki. like, it just seems like something that he kept kind of close to him, and he has shared that with langa and just idk i’m emotional over it

also, this is me reading way too much into things but they’re going opposite ways, and i think it kind of represents them meeting in the middle, if that makes sense? i don’t know, i’m just feeling a lot of feelings rn

why i liked episode 12 because i feel like i just absolutely insulted it in my last post:

- renga!! okay, was it explicitly said? no. do i think it needed to be, or that we’ve been queerbaited? no. i’m really happy with what we got, and i also got MAJOR yoi vibes from it, so yeah i’m honestly really happy. and despite being annoyed (jokingly) at langa not finishing his sentence, i think reki being stood there and smiling at him answered that enough

- miya in the outro!! i’m sad we didn’t get to see much of him this episode, but what ever happened when he passed his old friend, i am incredibly happy for him. he deserves the world

- also speaking about the outro, the cherry and joe part was so funny

- this is kind of a love/hate thing, which i didn’t put in the hate post but consider it that too. tadashi and adam. i hate the way that adam has treated tadashi, and i hate the way he talks to him/the way he uses his words, but tadashi seems genuinely happy with him and i think that’s what matters. although i really do think adam deserves to be jailed

- i didn’t like this but adam’s costume caused literal tears to stream down my face. what the fuck was that😭✋🏻

okay so honestly speaking, i think the last episode could have been... better? i don’t want to insult anything but like

- adam redemption for whatever fucking reason?? just why. there were so many ways they could have ended it, and langa, the minor he’s been stalking and preying on for months, helped him to understand they skate because it’s fun? why am i not surprised though

- so did miya just... forgive reki after reki ignored him (and all of them) for weeks and shoved him away when he just didn’t want to be left again?

- shadow not getting his manager. biggest heartbreak of the century, why did they do that. shadow deserves to be loved

- LANGA STILL DIDNT FINISH HIS FUCKING SENTENCE. (“my happiness is...”) LIKE FUCKING SPEAK DUDE

- i am now going to spend the rest of my life wondering whether reki or langa won

i’ll make a post saying things i am happy abt soon because while this wasn’t my favourite episode, i obviously did still enjoy it, and i do want to talk abt it a lot
