What really gets me is that he’s looking at the guy who will kill his E1 doppelganger, and also E1 Tess… And if Harry’s wife on E2 was Tess as well, that would be a real kick in the teeth, to lose the person you love in one world, and then come to another and discover this dick murdered her there. (And Jesse never even got to exist.)

I can imagine Eobard arriving “home” and thinking great, he’s got away with it, everyone thinks he’s Harrison Wells. And then a neighbor comes round with this little toddler, all “I’m so sorry about Tess…” Which is fine. Except then she just leaves the kid there. With him. Alone.

And children are NOT helpful. He asks her questions very clearly and she just sits and giggles. Gideon is also NO help whatsoever and he gets the sense she might be giggling too.

Probably the best idea would be to just kill the tyke and leave her in a ditch somewhere. But… well, that would raise suspicions, and besides Tess… And he gets a very unfamiliar lump in his throat thinking about how much she reminds him of Tess.

…which he doesn’t have long to linger on, because now the kid is yelling something about “moo-moo”. Is she saying “mama”? Gideon suggests she’s referring to the white-and-black stuffed animal on the couch. Some kind of sci-fi monster…

“Moo-moo!” Jesse squeals.

“Moo-moo?” Eobard asks.

She wrinkles her nose at him as if he’s not Eobard Have I told you I’m a genius lately? Thawne at all. “Cow,” she adds.

“Cow?” Eobard looks at the toy, looks back at her. Could it be? Really?

He sits down with her on the rug. Clearly this child has more to tell him than he thought.

I love that scenario. I mean, let’s be honest, Eo would totally fall in love with his pseudo daughter. No question about that. But then what about the whole going home thing? Does he plan on taking her with him to the future? Or does he struggle with himself until the very end because he knows he’d have to leave her if he decided to go home. Omg, imagine when he’s about to get erased from existence, and the last thing Eo says to Barry is “Please take care of Jesse…” and at the same time Barry finds out about Eo leaving STAR Labs to him, he also finds in the will that Eo listed Barry as his preferred guardian for Jesse.

I’m making myself cry.

That’s awesome. The thing is, I can totally see Eo being her dad when she’s small no problem, because SCIENCE, and Eo would be drawn to her by all the feels he stole from the real Harrison and simultaneously telling himself “this is temporary, she’s not really my kid, I’m just looking after her for a year or two…”

But Jesse being so… Quick… surely she’d have to figure something out about him. On the other hand, Eo covered his tracks pretty well, and someone who’d only ever known him rather than the real Harrison wouldn’t find him very suspicious.

His blog on cows is a bit strange, but kind of endearing…

I don’t care who writes it. I would love it if there are multiple fics even. I love this idea so much. Seeing Eobard who has zero experience with kids suddenly having to take care of a toddler. It’s guaranteed to be funny, cutesy and also heartbreaking because once he starts loving Jesse and views her as his own daughter and sees how much she misses her mother… I doubt that won’t affect him at all.

Her growing up, and him dealing with those growing pains haha. Also, teenage Jesse… getting an interest in guys… imagine how many boys Eo will scare away lol. No one would be good enough for his Jesse! And Jesse then being annoyed because “Damnit, dad, that’s the third boy you’ve chased away this month!”

for the love of god please listen to old users when we say this site works differently. that you can’t just sit around with a blank blog. make posts or reblog, but do something at least. this site works because we don’t have an unavoidable garbage algorithm forcefeeding us posts based on our likes. we do not need another fucking twitter, tiktok or instagram.
