My old Wacom Bamboo keeps throwing tantrums at my OS and Photoshop, so this is the best quality doodle I’m gonna get out of it. Guess it’s time to move on to BETTER TECHNOLOGY.

Introducing the “Ongoing Projects” Page to my Website! (click here)

Since landing my current job, I’ve struggled to properly communicate how it affects the Kiribbean brand. In addition to slow updates, I haven’t been as active on my social media feeds. I wanted to write an update to clear up any confusion my community gained as a result of my unintentional silence.

In short, all of my projects are now hobbies. While I’m highly satisfied with my job, it demands odd hours (mid afternoon to late evening) and limits when I can work on my projects. I haven’t given up on writing articles, creating art, or streaming, but updates are heavily impacted by my new schedule.

With this in mind, I decided to create an Ongoing Projects page for my website. You can view a calendar detailing which goals I’m aiming for each week. Below that is a pool of all the projects I’m working towards so you can keep track of them all. Check back every Monday for an amended calendar reflecting the next week’s goals!

My job may slow updates for Kiribbean-branded content, but I plan to continue working on my projects!

This counts as "art," right? I heard about Graffiti Kingdom back in High School, and until now was hopelessly tracking a copy for an affordable price. It's one of those rare obscure games that usually fetches for $60 or more, but I got mine for a cool $28. It's not a very deep game, but lots of fun and worth the purchase.

My FlorkofCows Puppet Dance actually went through a couple iterations before I settled on my current method to animate it. Since I haven't had the time to continue animating, I felt this would be a good time to share another aspect of the project.

Earlier in the year, Humble Bundle had a killer deal for the entire Bloom County library in eBook form. As my father loves the comic strip, I snatched it up as a Christmas gift. HOWEVER, I wanted to take the gift one step further. I designed this sculpture (based off of a cover I remember seeing as a child) and added a slot to store the memory card containing all the eBooks. I can't wait to unveil this surprise to my father come Christmas Day! See the time lapse video here!

BONUS time lapse of my progress on the FlorkofCows animation!

At the start of this year, I was hit with inspiration to animate one of Florkofcows's adorable sock puppets. Unfortunately, a lot of life stuff and general lack of motivation got in the way and prevented me from getting far in the project.

Many months and a couple failed animation tests later, I can finally show real progress! This time, I'm making a commitment to see this project through its completion.

To further motivate myself, I'll be posting updates as I reach various milestones. Today's are rough key frames for what I've animated so far. There's still a lot more to be done!
