I’ve been practicing it alot recently, and it’s not perfect yet, but I’m getting better!” Kirino knew that she would always keep practicing, no matter how hard the routine was. She knew her voice was better than her choreography skills, but that just made her want to work even harder. “This will be a good way to test how much I’ve improved.”

Smiling, Kirino walked farther into the room and plopped her practice bag by the wall. "I'm surprised you know my name," she commented. "As for the song...hmm..." She tilted her head in thought, teal braids falling across her shoulders. "Well, there is one I've been practicing recently. How about River?"

She finally had some free time, but Kirino had decided to continue practicing anyway. After all, the more she practiced, the faster she would succeed, right? Besides, it never hurt to throw in an extra hour or two. Reaching a door she assumed led to an empty room, the teal haired girl pulled it open, revealing none other than the captain of AKB herself. Not only had she walked in on her, but it seemed like she was in the middle of a song! "Oh, Takamina-san! I'm sorry for interrupting you." She hesitated, and then took another step. "Do you mind if I practice with you? Or at least watch? "

His dark purple hair reached fown to his back, and his stern gaze seemed to look everyone in the eye. Kirino supposed this was their dance instructor. It was nerve wracking, really. He seemed pretty stern, but the teal haired girl took her place in the middle of the room, waiting for instruction to be given. Looking around her at her fellow kenkyuusei, Kirino wondered how they felt.

I can’t vouch for the anime because I don’t know what episode to start looking, but in the manga it’s a star, so it should be probably the same in the anime as well (Tomoka/Tomochin the 10th has a caterpillar kirara like Tomoyo/Tomochin the 11th after all)

Can you guys reblog this as much as possible? Only time I’ll ask people to reblog a post but this might help out newbie fans or maybe get people interested in AKB as the group have over 400 songs and many vary styles.

A note: Kirino's personality (OOC)

She is a bright young girl, and has been a fan of AKB since she was young. She does her best to be polite, although sometimes she can act a little silly. She grew up without an entertainment ban, and never really had to deal with the DES. She's a cat lover, and loves eating seafood. She's exceptionally good at dancing, and while she is a good singer, it's not as strong as her dancing. She doesn't have anyone in mind that she wants to succeed, but has always been a big fan of Tomochin.

In her black jean shorts and sky blue floral tank top, Kirino stood off to the side, clutching the gift basket. It had been so nice of Sonata to make these up, and the sweets looked delicious! Looking at the exchange between the three girls, she smiled to herself. While she hadn’t gotten to know anyone yet, this certainly seemed like a friendly atmosphere. It was mind baffling that she had passed the audition in the first place, and then to meet a fellow understudy so quickly! As excited as she was, the teal haired girl knew that she had to do her best to be polite - after all, she wouldn’t want to leave a bad impression.

Bowing polity to the shorter idol, Kirino waited until all of the picture commotion was over to greet her with “Hi, Sonata-chan! It’s really great to meet you. Maybe we’ll practice together sometime?”
