Thank you everyone for your patience! These are the official prompts for KiruMaki week 2021! We will reblog everything appropriate posted in the tag #kirumakiweek2021 during the week from July 23-29. July 30 will be a bonus day with no particular prompt! Submitting your entries is also accepted and appreciated. All kinds of fan content (i.e. art, writing, photo/video edits, etc) is welcome! Our ask box is open.

late for almost two days but anyways I wanted to flex for a bit ^^ also yes. maki has freckles. and yes. kirumi has post-execution scars. and they're married 💚

kirumaki week day 2: crossover

OF COURSE i got my magical girl-ifying hands on them. meet the kirumaki pmmm crossover.

genshin impact am i right. here's some notes on my design ideas:

kirumi: wears something like a battle skirt which is easily gotten rid off but can still be somewhat stylish. gloves, of course. small "cape" kind of garment.

maki: yes i know the trousers look awkward as fuck, the purpose is that the lower part can be take off if so desired. large cape with a hood. something like adjustable straps to possible carry a backpack or tools or similar stuff.

some miscellaneous headcanons:

kirumi receives her vision the first time she accepts something like a 'request to serve'

maki receives her vision after protecting younger kids from the orphanage from harm

maki only uses her swords if she can help it, the bow is something like a hidden ace up her sleeve since it's long range and a big advantage

the two run into each other while doing undercover missions and they often clash

during one particular mission they happen to come to the same place, while arguing about getting into each others' way, maki gets caught off guard by a ruin hunter which kirumi quickly takes out

they decide to team up for this mission. after quietly helping each other out on this quest they don't seem to mind running into each other anymore

My contribution to day one of Kirumaki Week 2021! As soon as I saw the prompts for today (rivals/first kiss), my brain jumped straight to political rivalry (and not just because of THAT moment in v3.) I had such a fun time writing this :)

i had to do first kiss because i either suck at angst, i love dramatic height gaps, i like slow burn, i wanted to draw them in their anniversary outfits, or all of the above.
